It's been two days since the princess overheard the king's and the unknown guy conversation.
And she hasn't stopped thinking about it since then.
                          "Wolfs"
What could it mean? Were there more wolfs seen in the surrounding forest or something?
She didn't have any idea but that word couldn't get out of her head no matter what.

It was in the morning when she was summoned to the throne room. This was not usual for her, she wasn't seen in the throne room every now and then since that would create some foolish rumors.
Some people would say that the females do not belong in a room that is of so much importance. That they do not belong where the king is, since they, the women are inferior to males.

The king didn't really bothered with the rumors that involved the princess, but it so did infected the princess. So to keep away from the rumors and people too she wouldn't involve in much work and would only go when needed.

She was on her way to the throne room  when she saw muddy footsteps on the floor tile. As she walked closer slowly, she saw that it wasn't a person's footsteps, they can't be.
They were, how would she put it.
The footsteps she thought were of some animal for sure. They were muddy paws. A dog maybe?
But what would a dog be doing in the palace. There were no animals allowed to come in the palace.
She noticed that the muddy prints on the floor were going towards the patio which was at the back of the palace.
No one really use the patio so it was always vacant. She herself hasn't gone out in a long time, she was always either in the training room or in the library that was in the palace itself.
It wasn't like she likes going outside, it always felt like there was danger waiting for her as soon as she would step out.

I'm going out because I want to find out where is the dog that came in and how did he came in...I'm not going because I want to.

She was going outside to see the dog that came in but also because she wanted to see what outside looked like after such a long time but wouldn't admit it to herself.

She knew she was going to get in trouble for not coming to the throne room on time, but she couldn't care at the moment.
The princess wasn't the type to not listen to orders rather she took the orders from the king really serious but something in her was telling her to go behind the dog. That feeling was strong she couldn't resist it so she walked forward until she was at the entrance of the patio.
She just had to open the door now.
She wanted to forget this and just go on her way to the throne room to listen what the king had to say to her but at the same time she also wanted to open the door and see what kind of dog had came in the palace and how did he came in here.
It was for sure a strange feeling she was feeling at the moment.

She decided to go for it.

She put her hands on the door handle and pushed them to inside so she could finally enter.

As she took in her surroundings, the scenery was breathtaking.
She slowing got down the stairs while looking at the beautiful place Infront of her.
She noticed that the fire was lit. As she got more closer until she could feel the heat of the fire on her. She saw some clothes on the resting place Infront of her.
As she got more closer to inspect, she smelled a scent that was coming from the cloths. It was for sure a masculine scent that had the smell of the woods mixed to it. The cloths were full of mudd it was like the cloths were rubbed hard on the soil ground.

She heard a noise at a distant.
As she looked forward to see who was the owner of that voice.

"Princess?"

She looked behind her to see that the cleaner lady was there looking at her strangely.

"Princess you are to present before the king this instant as the king is getting impatient."

The princess nodded and looked back at the forest to see if there was anyone. She looked everywhere but she couldn't see anyone.
She sighed. She wanted to see the dog or someone who was in here.

I just wasted my time for nothing now I need to be be prepared for the long ass scolding from the king..

She thought that while still looking at the forest. She decided that now she should head back inside.

The guards opened the door for her to enter the throne room. She was expecting this to be an another proposal for her but as she entered, there was no one except for the king and her.

She walked forward until she was just Infront of the stairs that lead to the throne of the king.
She first bowed down her head as a sign of respect and submission to the king. And then looked straight forward to indicate confidence.

"May I know why did you honour me now with your dilated presence princess belle?"

Oh shoot I should've thought about the excuse I was going to tell the king...silly me...think brain think

"I sincerely apologise because of my late entrance, I needed to give Andrew a bath before coming here, your highness."

The king knew that the princess was really close to Andrew and would herself bath him.
So he didn't say anything for a few minutes and was just admiring his daughter who has grown up to be such an Astonishing and stunning lady.

"Your highness...?"

It seemed liked an hour was already passed by but it has only been 10 minutes but the king hasn't spoke yet.
The king was never like this he would straight up say what he want to say and dismiss the princess.
But today was different, the king looked kind of Emotional. He held an expression of a longing on his face.

When the king started to speak, her heart just stopped.

                    "I'm leaving."
