Sky's POV

We sat in the living room eating grilled sandwiches and watching How i met your mother on Netflix. I sat at the edge of the sofa and luke sat right next to me. We were practically cuddling. We had so much room to spread ourselves out but we chose to stick like gum. I layed my head against his chest playing with his necklace. Again, his scent hit me.  Something about his scent just gets me.  Laying with him and even being around him feels right. I guess that's why he's my best friend, right?

Luke's POV

I held her close as she layed her head against my chest. I strocked her soft hair. She mumbled something and started crying. I frowned. "Shh baby girl" i whispered, "It's gunna be okay". She gripped my shirt wiping her tears. She looked up at me but tears kept spilling out of her eyes. I wiped her eyes with my thumb.  I looked her into her blue green eyes. "Lukey, i want someone to love me the way he did" she sobbed "i want to feel that love. all i feel is pain that he left" i cupped her cheeks. "I promised you i'd pick up the pieces. I promised to stand by your side no matter what."

She nodded, "I love you Lukey" she said through sobs. "I know" I kissed her nose. " i know something that'll cheer you up." i get up running to her room and grabbing her guitar and ran back down. I sat next to her again. I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back. I strummed the guitar and started playing. "I'm gunna pick up the pieces and build a lego house..." i sang.
