CHAPTER II.II: Nightmare

AT ADAM'S RESIDENT

KIERAN'S POV

🌹The moment we opened the front door, The surroundings turned black and I suddenly got drowsy.
Moreover, right after we gained consciousness, we can't find Agatha anywhere.
It was like a big storm of darkness promptly took her without leaving any trace.

"I'll call my Dad. We need to get her back as soon as possible--" - Kieran anxiously said.

"Kier, Kier! Calm down. I'll contact him for you, and Lautner will trace her okay? You need to calm down first!" - Lenora worriedly explained.

Kieran takes a deep breath.

🌹I know I can't act hastily however, I desperately want to save Agatha as soon as possible. Because we don't know what's happening to her from the hands of Vladimirs.

AT VLADIMIR'S RESIDENT

🌹After removing my handcuffs,
these two fellowmen, Alex and Tim showed me around their Resident or should I call it a castle? Because of how big and wide these places are yet there's just limited furniture and rare to see someone around ---

"How come someone like Vladimirs doesn't have any - butler and court lady?" - Agatha innocently asked.

"Because we're Vladimirs, we don't need anything like that." - Alex replied.

🌹I was extremely nervous back there in the narrow dark room.

Now that I'm more at ease, I can feel my throat burning, my tongue is dry and itchy, I barely feel my hand from numbs, and my visions are getting blurry from emitting the heat of my eyes.

Alex halt and glance at Agatha.

"You-- You haven't drunk blood for a long time don't you?" - Alex asked.

Agatha gruntingly nods.

"Once we get thirsty, we cannot control our eyes from getting red, it promptly shows to warn us not to get out of control." - Alex said.

"I'll get a pack (of blood)." - Tim replied and hastily leave.

"You're a newborn, it will be more inconvenient if you went out with that star of your eyes. If you're thirsty, it's dangerous to go outside where there's a lot of humans, you'll get crazy." - Alex said.

🌹I believe they brought me here because they need something from me yet
somehow, I just feel like talking to someone who knows my situation well.

After Tim brought a pack of blood came from Ichorians Family, I feel calmer and cold.

And while walking through these empty halls, I saw an open park from the middle of this castle. There was an old Dried Oak Tree planted on the ground.
A tree where there's no single leaf growing from its branches. However, the roots are still intact from the soil and the tree is still sturdy and big.

Agatha suddenly shed a tear.

"How come this tree feels very familiar and why do I feel so sad and sorrowful just to see this standing here?" - Agatha gently whispered.

🌹As I look around.
I suddenly heard an indistinct groaning voice from distance.

I was about to go where it came from but Tim anxiously stopped me. Telling me that door behind it is beyond their limits.
However, I stepped forward regardless of the fact that Tim wears a worried face.

Agatha approaches the huge door.

🌹I can hear groaning sounds because the door is slightly open.
As I can see, the man named Cruorem is groaning because he's having a nightmare.

Agatha bravely went inside his room.

CRUOREM'S CHAMBER

🌹I gently stroke his forehead to check his state though--

Cruorem vigilantly grabs her hand as she gasps from a surprise.

"How impudent! What gives you right to come here and touch me without my consent?" - Cruorem coldly said while pulling Agatha closely to him.
