CHAPTER IV

INSIDE THE TROUVER'S RESIDENT

KIERAN'S POV

🌹The ambiance inside is terrible than when were outside. It's like a bunch of greasy pirates holding a map and busy discussing their search for treasures. You can see everywhere restless and hear them talking loudly.

"I'm Tux, The chief of Trouvers. Now, let's go down to business. Is there something that this person's belonging or he/she recently touched?" - Tux asked.

"Belongings? I'm afraid there's nothing." - Lenora replied.

"How about this book? She touched this right before she got kidnapped." - Kieran said while showing the book.

Tux carefully take the fragile book.

"Hmm. Let's see." - Tux said while concentrating on the book.

🌹This man put the book in his left palm and gently rubbed the cover with his right hand.
He closed his eyes and chant some unfamiliar words. 

After that, he opened his eyes with glowing rouge eyes and stare at the book.

"This book definitely touched by someone but her hue scent is similar to the hue scent of someone who last touched it." - Tux said.

"It was me." - Kieran obviously replied.

"Her hue scent resemblance yours, mister?" - Tux curiously asked.

"Maybe because you share your venom with her?" - Lenora replied

"Maybe that's why" - Kieran said.

"It's fascinating that you guys have a resemblance hue scent. It is rare to see something like that in centuries. Even living organisms to human has unique hue scent." - Tux said

"It's more fascinating that you guys can the see the scent of every individual while we can only rely on our nose." - Lautner said.

Lenora chuckles.

"Let's go find your friend" - Tux said while preparing their things.

Kieran halts out of the blue and faces the starry sky of the full moon.

🌹The moon's calling me.
And I started hearing high-frequency sounds in my ears that makes my head dizzy.

"What's wrong Kieran? Are you unwell?" - Lenora worriedly asked

"The moon .... Eclipse is coming." - Kieran pantingly said.

Lenora worriedly gasps and Lautner anxiously looks at the moon.

"You need to rest. Whatever you're thinking about, don't do it! I won't allow that!" - Lenora anxiously said.

"No, it's great timing. Even the moon's helping me. I won't let this chance go to waste." - Kieran replied as he continues breathing heavily.

🌹A long time ago, it was my 50th year of being a vampire. 

I was at my family's garden where all scarlet roses were planted. Walking on its isle under the abundance of the eclipse. I thought I was hearing things but I was certain that the moon was calling me. 

My visions get hazy and hear a high-frequency sound the rose's petals start moving like a big storm in the garden as if it's a bloody storm coming from the scarlet rose tint. 

The chief of Adams told me that I have a rare ability to control the blood that is inside of Scarlet roses' petals. However, I can only do such a power when there's an eclipse. Nevertheless, after what happened that time, my energy was drained by the moon that cause me in a deep slumber for 10 years. 

The Evan's chief my father warned me not to use that power ever again even if there's an eclipse. 'it's very dangerous' they said. It may even cause me an eternal slumber and never be able to gain consciousness. 

Still, giving me a rare chance like this will not go to waste. I will not hesitate to use this power just to make sure Agatha will be saved and come back safely.

Tux start the car engine and everyone hopped on the car.

"Just wait a little longer, Gath. I'll come for you." - Kieran fiercely whispered.

Tux hit the gas and followed the scent of Agatha.
