My World

Chapter 1: Relief

"Jayden... I'm... I'm pregnant." I gulped. I felt my eyes start to war as the threat of tears stung at my eyes. Was this going to be the end of our relationship? I don't know what I' going to do if Jayden leaves me. I looked over at Jayden who wasn't saying anything. "Jayden are you okay?" My voice cracked, tears poured out of my eyes, I put my hands over my face and let it all out. I just ruined the greatest relationship I ever had. I hope he waits until we're back in New Jersey to break up with me. This already turned into the most awkward road trip ever.

"You're... pregnant?" Jayden asked. I didn't want  to look up I shook my head yes, hoping he saw it; I didn't want to say it out load. "Scars that's awesome." I heard the smile in his voice. 

"It... it is?" I sobbed looking up. Jayden had the biggest smile on his face. I as confused. He's happy? "You're not upset?" I asked drying my eyes. 

"No, why would I be?" He asked. "I think it's great, we're going to be parents!" He nearly yelled. I was trying to figure out if he was being sarcastic or not. Not every 18 year old is happy to be a parent. That's a big responsibility, but I know Jayden would be a great parent. Just like Aleanah said he is going to be. 

"You're 18 Jayden; I basically just ruined your freedom." I gulped. I hope me saying that isn't going to change his mind. 

"It doesn't matter Scars, besides it takes two to make a baby. It's not just your fault." Those words calmed me down a lot. The rest of the ride home we talked about everything, we ever talked about names but that was just to throw them out there. I wasn't 100 precent sure I was pregnant anyways. I was kind of hoping I was though, a baby that looked like Jayden would be the cutest thing ever! 

When we got back to New Jersey it was pretty late out, so we just went straight to bed. We both were tired from driving all day. Everyone in the house was sleeping, I was a little sad I wanted to say hi to Elias, I missed him so much over summer while in Maine. But there's always tomorrow morning. I smiled walking past his room, his loud snoring echoed through the hallway. Jayden and I changed and laid in bed. "This summer was so much fun, I'm so glad you came with me." Jayden smiled kissing my forehead. "I love you Scars." He kissed my lips this time. 

When the kiss was over I said, "I love you too Jayden." and we both fell asleep in each others arms. 

"Mommy!" I heard a little girl say. "Mommy where are you?" The little voice called again. I couldn't see anything; I must have been in a dark room. "I'm going to find you mommy." The little girl's voice was deerper than before. "Are you in here?" Light poured into the room I was in, burning my eyes. I groaned covering them. "I found you mommy!" I opened my eyes to see a little girl covered in blood. I let out a scream. 

I gasped for air, oxygen rushed into my lungs burning them. "Scarlett what's wrong?" Jayden yelled sitting up. His hair was all messed up from sleeping. I couldn't believe that was a dream. It was so life like. 

"Nothing, I just had a bad dream." I sighed. Lying back down. He laid back down with me. 

"Do you want to tell me about it?" He asked. I thought about it, I wasn't sure if I wanted to or not. I shook my head no. "Are you sure? They say if you have a bad dream tell someone about it, and it won't ever come back again." I really didn't want to have that dream again but I really didn't want to tell Jayden about it. I didn't say anything, just laid there thinking. 

Was that a hint I am having a girl? But why was it such a bad dream? "I think I'm worrying about..." I cut myself off. This house has ears everywhere; I didn't need my mom knowing, not yet. "What I told you yesterday." Jayden understood what I was talking about and nodded his head. 

"Was that what your dream was about?" He asked. I shook my head yes. "Wow." Jayden said shocked. I sighed. Something from the kitched smelled really good was filling up my room. I smiled hoping over Jayden to get changed. Jayden followed me and we both went down stairs. 

My mom ran up to us, hugging us. "How was your trip? Did you have fun?" My mom asked. I laughed, she was like a little puppy who hasn't seen their owner in a while. 

"Mom let them eat first." Elias laughed from the kitchen. 

"Elias!" I yelled running into the kitchen and gave him a big hug. "I missed you!" I yelled again.

"Calm down Scarlett." Elias laughed, "I missed you too." I hugged him again before hoping off his lap and grabbing a plate. Jayden shook his head, grabbing some food. Bacon, eggs, sausage and pancakes. Yum! We sat down at the table with everyone else. 

"So tell me everything!" My mom smiled as she sat down.

"Aleanah is so nice, and Chance is the cutest baby ever!" I smiled. "The beaches were nice but like Jayden said before we left, even in June and July the beaches are still cold. But it was easy to get used to, kind of." I laughed. "All in all, it was a great summer." I smiled looking at Jayden. He smiled back at me. 

"Well are you ready for senior year next week?" My mom asked. I frowned. School again. I sighed, another year of annoying people and another year of my mom asking what I'm going to do with my life when I graduate.

"It'll go by fast." Jayden smiled at me. I smiled back.

When we were done eating, we decided to go hang out with Rose, Chelsea, and Max for a while. " You're what!?" Rose screamed. 

"Shhh," I hushed her, "I don't want the world to know." I laughed.

"You're pregnant?" Chelsea whispered.

I smiled, "Mayde, I need to get a pregnancy test." Jayden tightened his hold around my waist. 

"You know they're not 100 precent right, right?" Max asked. I nodded my head. I planned on doing the pregnancy text and if it comes up positive I was going to go to the doctor. 

"Well what are you waiting for?!" Rose screamed grabbing my arm and pulling me up off Jayden's lap. I didn't want to do it right now, I wanted to wait for a little but I guess now would be okay. 

We walked to the near by CVS and Rose grabbed two pregancy tests, she read ever one to see which one was the best. I couldn't go home to do them so we went to Max's house that had no one in it. 

Even though I didn't want them to Rose and Chelsea ended up following me into the bathroom. I made them sit in the bathtub while I did what I needed to do. 

"Are you done yet?" I heard Chelsea ask. I sighed I was done for a while but I just didn't want them to come out yet.

"We're coming out whether you like it or not!" Rose yelled nearly falling out of the tub because of the shower curtain. I laughed but I was so nervous. I looked down at the stick and so did Rose and Chelsea. It was weird we were looking at a stick I peed on but oh well. "Look at the box see how long it takes to work." Rose told Chelsea. "Wait nevermind." Two little pink lines started to appear on the stick. I sighed, I wasn't even sure myself if it was a good sigh or a bad one. Rose and Chelsea both screamed at the same time. I'm sure the boys think we just got murdered. 

"Oh my god!" Chelsea yelled so did Rose. "I'm so happy for you and Jayden." Chelsea smiled. 

"Wait lets try the other one." I gulped.

"Aren't you happy?" Rose asked. 

"Yeah, but I want to make sure it's right."

After a while I finally was able to pee again and that one too came up to be positive. I smiled hopefully they're not both wrong. We walked back down stairs to Max and Jayden who were sitting on the couch. "Well?" Jayden asked standing up. 

"They both came up positive." I smiled. 

Jayden picked me up and spun me around. "I'm so happy." He smiled setting me back on the floor and kissing me. 

"I'm glad you are." I smiled. Now I just have to find a way to get a doctors appointment without my mom finding out.
