Whoever said the applause that rings into your ears after a piano performance makes your heart beat faster was right. It's especially true if you live alone and play the piano during one of those insomniac nights.

If someone said 3 years from now that Jungkook would go to an amusement park, he would scoff and ignore them to his fullest ability. The worst thing - going alone. Other people's glances bothered him more than he would like to admit. Looking means talking, talking means judging, and judging means disapproval; everything he is scared of.
However, to his surprise, the ghost figure is waiting for him just before the entry gates. Jungkook would love to run up to him and take a selfie with both of them grinning and post it on Instagram if he would be a fan of social media, which he isn't. But there is a tiny tint of wanting to prove to others how worthy he might be. Or how real their friendship is.
Yoongi doesn't seem bothered by the way Jungkook is marching towards him. He keeps his half-smile, waiting for the latter to do all the approaching. From the way Yoongi isn't moving Jungkook knows, the ghost is not going to break a sweat today.
Many questions are running in Jungkook's mind, one of them being why Yoongi left him alone, but the male is scared to ask. Or more precisely, scared to scare him away. Any poor wording could lead to the ghost disappearing right in front of his eyes and he wouldn't be able to catch him. This friend was like a cloud of smoke to Jungkook.
Talking about smoke, Jungkook increases his pace the moment he could sense the smell of cigarettes right next to him.
"I see you got the ticket," Yoongi says, pointing towards the tiny paper that is slightly crumpled in Jungkook's hand.
"Where did you get it?"
"Someone left it behind." Yoongi fails to stay rooted in his place as he ushers Jungkook closer towards the entrance.
"Yoongi, you killed him?" the younger male whisper-yells all too aware of the stares people were throwing their way. Or more precisely - his way.
"No. Do you really think so low of me?"
"I never said intentionally. Besides, I almost died the first time we met," Jungkook whispers.
"And I still don't know why I didn't end you right there."
Jungkook wants to keep attacking with questions but the more he speaks, the more people start avoiding him. The male moves to the back of the row, hoping the people who joined later won't glare at him. And they don't.
"You're not going to buy a ticket?" Jungkook asks as Yoongi passes through the gates unnoticed.
"I already have one," a boy, who happened to stand where Yoongi passed by, says. His eyes are turning wide in disbelief that someone had the balls to call him out. Him. Someone who never did anything wrong. At least not intentionally. It takes Jungkook a few moments before he realizes that the confused boy can't see Yoongi and he mutters a tiny 'sorry'.
"I'm a ghost, remember?" Yoongi whispers as he stands next to Jungkook, the corner of his mouth twitching into his cheek. Not only did he have the audacity to make a fool out of Jungkook, but it was also giving him inner delight.
