Chapter 1

Lance Pov:

I wake up to the sun burning through my eyelids and i sluggishly get out of bed

I walk into my walk in closet and pick out what to wear

I decide to wear blue ripped jeans and a normal white T-shirt

Im not too excited for today seing as i need to baby sit the fanglets of the coven today

My job is too teach them how to kill a werewolf same as any other fanglet it taught

I reach the kitchen and i see pidge and hunk already there drinking a new mixture of blood

Hunk likes to mix blood like how a bartender mixes alcohol only blood doesn't get us drunk we just need it once or twice a day to survive

"Hey buddy new mix today might want to get some before pidge drinks it all" hunk says with a small laugh at the end as pidge shoots him a glare before continuing to drink her glass of blood

I pour myself a glass before pidge can drink it all and i sit down on at the table

"Goodluck babysitting today" pidge says with a smirk knowing babysitting is the worst way to spend my day

I roll my eyes at her as i finish my blood and head out saying bye as i close the door behind me

I walk through the small run down village towards the forest

We always keep the fanglets and the fleshlings in a hotel like building ina clearing in the forest since they don't know how to control their thirst for blood and will always be looking for more blood

We have a iron wall around the building to keep werewolf's out and away from the fanglets and fleshlings

Fanglets are vampires that are born vampires but are still kids

Every vampire stops aging at 18 and can live forever from there until they are killed

Fleshlings are humans turned vampires

We try to avoid making fleshlings since it can be very confusing for them and can put them on a rampage. It can also risk other humans from finding out about vampires and we really want to avoid that

As i reach the iron gate that surroundes the building a small scanner appears

I hiss baring my fangs at the scanner as it scans them

We use a fang scanner so no werewolfs can enter

Sure they have canines which could pass as fangs but vampires have a special venom in their fangs and that's what the scanner looks for

The venom is also why werewolf's started hunting vampires because a vampires venom boosts a vampires strength and speed however to humans vampire venom is like a drug

Werewolf's are brutal or from what I've heard anyway. They would capture vampires and file their fangs to extract the venom which is extremely painful

I walk towards the building as i see some fanglets speed towards me using their vampire speed

Fanglets also don't know how to control their speed or strength so most of the time they are speeding around at full strength which is what makes them such a nightmare to babysit

The fleshlings don't need babysitting seing as they are all between 15-21 however they do need lessons on how to use their powers and control their thirst for blood

The fanglets jump at me like i said at full speed since they don't know how to turn it off yet and i use my strength to keep my ground

"Brother Lance!" One of the fanglets say as they hug my leg.
