Chapter Four : Heartache & Touring Campus
~<~<~<<~<~>~>~>>~>~Evelyn's POV
"Evelyn wake up." I groaned rolling over. No. I replied mentally. Who dares wake me up!?
"Evelyn...baby come on." I furrowed my eyebrows. Wait-no. It can't be. I must still be dreaming. That can't be Ryan, can it?
"Wake up baby girl." Only Ryan calls me baby girl! My eyes sprung open looking frantically around the room.
"Right here, sweetheart." I looked at the phone in Olive's hand where Ryan sat smiling softly down at me.
I smiled and grabbed the phone. "Ryan Peirce. Hello stranger. " I smiled groggily rubbing my eye.
Olivia came to cuddle up next to me so we could both look at Ryan.
"Aww...I miss my girls. How are you lovelies?" He grinned cheekily.
"We miss you too," We said at the same time. "and we're doing great." I added.
"How are you honey?" Olivia said. "The basketball team is not giving you any trouble are they?" Olive and I were always furiously protective of Ryan and his sexuality, so if he told us someone was messing with him, you couldn't hold us back even if you tried.
"They don't know Olive." He smiled softly at her. "So what's new with you guys?"
"Well," Olivia started. "I got a job at a cupcake shop and Evelyn here has a mysterious boyfriend." She rushed out pointing her thumb towards me.
"No I don't!" I shoved her and she clutched onto me so she wouldn't fall off the bed. I pushed at her but she had a good grip so I let her go. She sat up straight blowing her bangs out of her face grinning cheekily towards me.
I almost forgot Ryan was there until he started chuckling at us. "Wow, you two just don't stop, do you? Anyways," he shook his head, "want to tell me about this mysterious boyfriend of yours?"
"Shut up mister! Your lucky your in that screen." I pointed at him.
"Oooh. Scary." He mocked waving his hands with wide eyes. "No I'm not going to shut up. My girl has a mysterious boyfriend and I got to make sure he's good enough for her." he smirked sending me a wink. I glared at him. His face turned serious when he seen the look I was giving him.
"There's no boyfriend guys, just a stranger who I met at work." I denied rolling my eyes.
"Yeah, because people share heated dances with strangers they just meet, all the time." Olive rolled her eyes with a sarcastic drawl. I shoved her again and this time she fell off the bed. I knew I shouldn't have told her that.
"You shared a heated dance with this guy?" Ryan's eyes widened and he raised his eyebrows shocked. He knew how I got with men and intimacy. I grabbed the phone and walked towards the balcony. Olivia looked at me as I opened the doors and stepped out closing them.
'Give me a moment with Ryan' I mouthed to her pointing to the phone. She looked taken back but rolled her eyes and got under the blankets after seeing I was serious. I felt bad but there were things between Ryan and I that Olivia didn't know about. I bit my lip looking towards the lump underneath the comforter. I'll tell her eventually, just not yet.
"I hate it too baby girl." Ryan said when he noticed the way I was looking at Olivia. Turning around and looking out at the view, I sighed nodding.
