Mark didn't go to school at all for the rest of the week. He didn't want to face Aspen, and it's not like she reached out to him. He had to drag himself to be able to stream, and put on a fake smiley tone to make his fans think he was okay.

Aspen was loving life. The date she went on went well, and now she had a boyfriend. Jack was so kind to her. She would hang out with him a lot, and even introduced him to the twins. The twins did not like him. He would not show any interest in them unlike Mark. And her mom certainly did not pay much attention to them. The twins were not having much fun around Jack. And with that, aspen would pay less and less attention to them. The twins had to beg for attention, and aspen would give it to them less and less.

Jack became very toxic to the plain eye. But aspen didn't notice. Jack would make her not pay attention to anyone. He had changed her.

After a week Mark finally went to school. It pained him a lot. He came into school to see him all over Jack. He put his head down in his first class, and Aspen wasn't there. He just minded his own business. He overheard his classmates talking and couldn't help but overhear.

"Did you hear Aspen and her boyfriend ditched first period to go make out in the bathroom?"

"What?" Mark thought to himself "is she really dating Jack? Shit" he knew it wasn't gonna end well. He knew that he was gonna break her heart. He had to do something fast.

Aspen on the other hand wasn't concerned in the slightest. She had a boyfriend who said he liked her. He would give her attention. Give her gifts. All nice things. But he was a bad influence. He would urge her to skip class. Sure Aspen skipped school sometimes but that was for mental health. Aspen became very nasty. She was mean towards everyone. She couldn't see it. But Mark could. He would always check in with the daycare to see if the twins had gotten picked up because he was paranoid. Then the day came; where he got the call.

Aspen and Jack were hanging out as they usually do. And then Jack started to kiss her. Hard. Aspen enjoyed it at first. She actually really liked being given physical affection. He started to make it more intense, and this is where Aspen started to feel not ready. She tried to tell him to stop. But he wouldn't. He kept doing this. It was at this time where she realized. "Fuck, Mark was right, he's using me. Shit I fucked up big time" she didn't know what to do "JACK STOP PLEASE" she pleaded. He kept going leaving marks all over her neck. She wanted him to stop. But he wouldn't

Mark got the call that the twins never got picked up and neither their mom nor aspen was picking up their phones so they called Mark. He right away agreed. "I'm going to give Aspen a talking to when I get to her house" he hurried out of the door to his car and drove to the daycare. He was worried. A lot. He was scared for the girl. He didn't know if she was in trouble. So he got the twins and talked to them as he usually does. The twins were very happy to see him. They really did like Mark. After a short drive Mark came inside to hear yelling. "Shit" he thought. Aspen was in trouble "cmon Mark think." "Alright boys you go play over there for a minute I'll be right back. He ran up the stairs and heard aspen.

"GET OFF. PLEASE" he heard aspen yelling. He burst through the door to see Jack on top of Aspen, obviously trying to get in her pants. Aspen was in tears and he wasn't listening to her.

"YOU HEARD HER GET OFF" he boomed

"What are you doing here?" Jack and aspen asked

"Well I was minding my own business when I got a call from the daycare. You forgot about your brothers. But obviously thats not important right now. Jack you heard her. She told you to stop. So stop."

"No, she's not your friend anymore. She's mine. She's my girlfriend. And you can leave."

Aspen didn't say anything she was in tears. "No, I made a promise to myself, to never let anyone hurt Aspen because she is the ONE thing I care about. And her brothers too. They are like my siblings at this point. For them and aspen I will do anything."

"If you'll do anything then leave"

"How about you leave." Mark spotted aspen on the ground nodding. "Aspen doesn't want you here either. So SCRAM"

"No, aspen babe cmon he's not your friend remember. He's mean and controlling."

Aspen tried to speak through her tears "no— your the controlling one. So leave"

"I'm not controlling I love you. and I'm the only one who will love you. No one will love you again. You'll have no one if you loose me. No one likes you"

Mark couldn't take it anymore. He punched Jack right in the face. And he yelled at him and beat him. "Leave." He said through gritted teeth "now."

Jack scurried out of the house. Mark made sure his car was gone. He then directed his attention to aspen.

"ASPEN RAYNE! I don't even no where to begin..." ooh no he was not gonna be nice.

"Before you yell. I know I fucked up. Big time. I don't even know what got into me. I promise I was gonna pick the twins up, but Jack— he, he was gonna rape me and"

Even though he was mad, Mark still went over to hold Aspen. "Shhhh, okay, okay. I'm still mad. You chose to trust the guy you barley knew over me. Do you know how much that fucking hurt? I wasn't in school for a whole week. Not that you noticed though. You didn't text me call me. Nothing. Aspen I cried every night because I missed you. I missed the twins, I missed making jokes, I missed you. And you went off and got a boyfriend. Aspen that really stung."

Aspen just kept crying. She was a mess. Poor girl had been through so much recently that she couldn't take anymore. She was tired. Tired of drunk moms. Tired of fake friends. Tired of being used. Tired of being lead to believe that she was wanted. She didn't know who to trust anymore. "You were right" she said "I should've trusted you. It was his stupid tactics that he used to manipulate me. He used me for my body and to hurt you. I hate this. I hate this. I hate myself I—" before she could say anything else Mark did what he had been wanting to do for a long time.
