"Hello?" I said slowly as I picked up my cell phone.

"Hey Jessica!" A guy said cheerfully through the receiver.

"Oh hey Adam, sorry! Didn't check the name."

"That's alright... So hey do you still have no plans for Saturday?"

"Nope none." I said popping the 'p'. "Oh... that reminds me I gotta call Sara and cancel my reservation..." I said mostly thinking out loud.

"Oh good! Claire just cancelled on me too!" he said happily.

"Uh-huh... And this involves me how?" I said cautiously.

"And I was wondering if you wanted to come with me instead? Since you said we haven't been hanging out that much and all..." He trailed off sounding unsure.

"Well I... I dunno... What are we going to do?" I questioned warily.

"Well... It's actually a school thing... The dean is having a party and he invited Claire and I because were the top of our classes... But she has her book club meeting like she does every Saturday..." He slowly trailed off, waiting for my answer. "So? Will you come?"

"Wow... Sounds exciting... But why doesn't Claire just skip the meeting?" I asked, because honestly? Who gives a crap about a book club! She can catch up next time right?

"No, no she never misses a meeting." He said seriously.

"Not even for like... Sex?" I giggled.

"Never!"

"What the hell? Really?" I said astounded.

"Really..."

I sighed feeling guilty... Well I'm not doing anything... "Alright well lemme tell Alec and then it will be for sur-"

"You sure he won't say no though?" He interrupted.

"Please! I would go even if he did say no! You should know that dork!" I said as we both chuckled at the thought of Alec trying to stop me.

"Alright, awesome! It's very formal though, it's a black tie event. Got it?"

"Oh cool! I love gettin' all pretty!" I said excited.

"Psh, no need to get pretty when you are!"

"How dumb! Stop trying to sweet talk me!" I laughed.

"Yea yea, love ya dork!" he said chuckling.

"Love ya too loser." I said as I ended the call.

"Who was that babe?" Alec asked as he strolled into the bedroom.

"It was Adam." I said casually as I plopped down onto the bed.

Alec climbed up next to me and propped himself up on his elbow facing me.

"Sooo?" He said as he lightly brushed my bangs back.

"He asked me to attend a party with him."

Alec laughed lightheartedly and asked "What kind of party?"

"I'm not sure. Something at UCLA though..."

"Not without me!" he said angrily.

"Not that kind of party... A goodie, goodie party!"

"Ohhh... Okay." He said as he rolled onto his back.

He sighed and said "I love you so, so, so, so, so, so, so much baby."

I rolled over and rested halfway on top of him. "I love you so, so, so much too babe."

"I'm sorry I can't go to dinner. Mom's just... on my ass about moving out and making me feel bad." He said frowning.

"Yea yea, excuses, excuses." I mumbled and we both started laughing.

Our laughing turned to kissing. And then our kissing turned to... Well 'bedroom things'...

When we were done and had been resting for a while Alec whispered "Gotta work soon my love."

"Mmmm... Okey dokey..." I said falling asleep.

"You work at 5 baby so don't sleep too long!" he shouted as he went into the bathroom to take a shower.

Yay work! I work at the most boring place ever! Me and my friend Jocelyn sit there all day and answer phones. I sometimes wish we could just do what those two girl in the Carls Jr. commercial do and hang up.

Thinking about work has me falling asleep even faster...
