As I begin to open my eyes, I look out the window to the rising sun that happened to cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. The sun poured through my window as my eyes adjust to the light in my room. The just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activity. I begin to smell the delightful scent of pancakes, bacon, and eggs as the scent filled up the room. I start to wonder why my alarm had even gone off in the first place. Suddenly, I remember that today is the first day of school. I quickly got up from my bed and started to look for an outfit to wear.

After getting ready, I went downstairs for breakfast. Linda was sitting in the living drinking ice coffee and reading an article from the newspaper that came from the mail today. "Good Morning", I greeted. "Good Morning, I made breakfast this morning. Since I bought milk yesterday, I made pancakes, eggs, and bacon". "Thank you", I said as I began to eat. Since my aunt had to save gas, I decided to walk to school. The school wasn't that far so I ended up getting there on time.
I begin to walk inside the school and some of the people in the hallway started looking at me, probably because I'm hot. Since I had so idea where I was going, I decided to ask someone in the hall. I saw this girl standing by what seems to be their locker, so I thought I should ask if they knew where classroom 133 was, which was English. As I began to walk over, I notice that the girl was the same person I saw yesterday.
"Hi, do you know where class 133 is?" "Oh yeah, it's right down the hall to your left", the girl responded. "Wait, are you that girl that just moved in across from me", the girl asked. "Oh umm, yes. I'm Jupiter, nice to meet you". " I'm Bell, nice to meet you as well", bell answered. "What classes do you have? Maybe we have some classes together", Bell asked. "Well, I have geometry 2nd hour, art 3rd hour, gym 4th hour, history 5th hour, and chemistry 6th hour". "Oh, we have art and chemistry together", Bell said gladly. "Also, do you want to sit with my friends at lunch", she asked. "Yes, I'll love that, thank you".
While I was on my way to English class, I accidentally bump into someone or something tall. When I looked up, I noticed that it was a girl, who look about my age. She had this long red ginger curly hair and fair skin. She had a mix of light grey and blue eyes and had freckles that sky across her face. She had a sharp jawline as well. I was dazed when suddenly she spoke. "Watch where you're going", she said with annoyance in her voice. I had completely forgotten that I have even bumped into her. "Oh sorry, I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings", I said completely embarrassed. She began to walk away from a distance. " So much for making great first impressions", I thought in my head. I continue to walk to class.
English and Geometry class felt so long. It was only the first day of school and they were already giving us homework assignments today. Don't get me wrong, I was intelligent, the only thing lower than my GPA was my will to live. The only problem was because of my great grades, they gave me AP classes, assuming that I would be able to handle it. I was too smart for normal classes and too dumb for AP classes. I used to like math until they started adding letters to it. Like, what even is 2m×b =33. I spent most of my time thinking about what had all happened today. I have made a new friend and possibly even a new enemy.
