A week later

Y/n just finished his last bit of training as he go's off to meet the other first year students

At the beacon courtyard

Y/n is walking around till he runs into someone

Y/n: my bad

Jake: it's cool so who are you?

Y/n: I'm y/n goodwitch

Jake: I'm Jake lo- wait a second...the lady on the announcement on the bullhead her name was glynda goodwitch so your her son?

Y/n: yup

Jake: huh cool anyways the names Jake long

Y/n: nice to meet ya

Boom!

Y/n: what..was that?

Jake: I have a feeling. Take a look

Y/n looks to see 2 girls one sitting and one standing as there's smoke between them

Y/n: wanna check it out?

Jake: sure

The two walk over to the girls

Weiss: ugh you complete dolt! What are you even doing here? Your too young!

Y/n: may we question what just happened?

Jake: because all we heard was one big boom

Weiss: this dolt almost blew us off the side of beacon

???: if I may

The 4 look to see

Garnet: the names garnet and you should learn some responsibility schnee for your the reason you two almost were blown off the side of beacon

Weiss: how!?

Garnet: well by shaking the little sample of dust the lid wasn't on all the way and by you shaking it sent some of the dust towards the girl making her sneeze so technically it is your fault and you should apologize

Weiss: (sigh) fine I'm sorry for almost sending us off the side of beacon but you did trip over my cases of dust

Ruby: I'm sorry about that I should have seen it. I was to busy looking around

Weiss: it's fine

A girl walks up for Weiss to walk up and snag the sample of fire dust and packs her bags as she walks off

Y/n: for apologizing she seems remarkably snotty

Jake: yeah I agree

Garnet walks over and helps up ruby

Ruby: thanks

Garnet: no problem but I should start to take a look around I'll see you later

Garnet walks off as y/n and Jake walk up to ruby
