Summary: Sebastin is so rude the reason behind why he is so rude and cruel is because he is dying. And collapses during his Solo in regionals, realizing this is his final thing he will remember for when he dies.
Sebastin was in his dorm, wearing old beat up shoes that nobody knew about, with long comfy blue pants (because he is so tall and lean) and a Dalton Academy shirt. When there was a knock on his door, he got up before slightly losing his balance. Opening the door he saw his parents, "Hi mom,dad." He says politely,they come in with the test results from when he'd taken earlier. They showed it to him, he immediately started crying. "I can't die, please don't let it be true." Sebastin mumbles in the crooked of his dad's neck. "Hey, hey, hey bassy it won't be true we will fight it together. Ok? Promise me that." Jason Smythe says while trying to comfort his son by wishpering comfortable words. It broke their hearts seeing their son cry his heart out. 20 minutes later they leave, later that night Sebastin cries himself to sleep. Flashback "Sebastin Smythe?" The doctor asks as they stand up to follow the doctor to the examination room. "Already we're going to see your progress from before, stick this in you mouth while I test you reflexes and flexibility." Doctor James says. Sebastin puts the stick in his mouth while doctor James tests his reflexes and flexibility. "Alright your reflexes and flexibility are getting weaker that's not a good sign. Oh and give me this" doctor James takes the stick from Sebastin's mouth. "Here let me hear your heartbeat" as doctor James hears his heartbeat (with the I don't know. What's it called) Sebastin looks at his parents with a hopeful expression. 30 minutes later doctor James finished with examine Sebastin, they leave the hospital. End of flashback
Sebastin woke up to the sound of door knocking, "BASTIN GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP! WE HAVE WARBLER PRACTICE!!" Yelled Thad. " M' coming in 20 minutes." Sebastin says tiredly. Thad brusts into the room dragging Sebastin who is still half asleep. While gaining weird look from students walking by. "Ok everybody Sebastin is here." Thad sates, while losing his grip from holding Sebastin. Sebastin faceplants to the floor falling asleep as soon as his face hits the floor. "I guess he was pretty tired after all." Thad comments. "Everyone Warbler practice is cancelled until further notice." Thad says as if he were the Warbler captain. Much to everyone happiness all left while Thad tries to get Sebastin on one of the couches. 10 minutes later Sebastin wakes up, " m'happened?" He asks with a tired voice. "Sebastin when have you had a decent sleep?" Thad asks worried. "In like 10 years ago." Sebastin says while shrugging. "Sebastin!! That's only when you were 5 what the hell!!" Thad yelled while receiving looks from people pass bye. 'well that's from when I got cancer' Sebastin thought. "Shut up Thad mamma, ok you sound like a mom." Sebastin says while trying to get up but losing balance into making him fall back onto the couch. "Just leave me alone Thad." And with that Sebastin manages to walk away and get his keys from his dorm and change into blue jeans, a blue shirt with a Canada logo with his hair Gelled all the way.

He drives to the Lima Bean and gets his black (with a shot Courvoisier) coffee. "Smythe!" Sebastin hears a Latin voice call out to him, quickly he plasters a smirk across his face "Hey sher-qur-a miss me?" He says while taking a seat in front of her. "Nice try twink. What are you doing here trying to throw a slushy at me today?" Santana snaps. "Well I'm glad you ask Satan I'm doing nothing but dumping coffee on you." As soon as Sebastin said that he threw his coffee at Santana and walk out of the Lima Bean. Once he got back to Dalton Sebastin,Jeff and Nick started teaching the Warblers the geography.
Time skip
Sebastin was singing Stand when his world was getting blurry but he ignore it. He almost mess up the weeks of learning the geography. But it had to come to a stop because Sebastin collapses in the middle of the song, the Warblers were getting worried about their captain. They called the ambulance,10 minutes later the medics arrived where they check his heartbeat. They saw he was FLATLING so they put paddles on Sebastin's chest to jump start his heart. Including trying to put air so he can breathe again.
He lost.
Sebastin is dead.
Where everyone could see.
His parents saw him die from a distance, crying.
Weeks later it was the funeral. "The only reason he was so mean to you is because he can't let anyone know he has cancer since he was 5. And at age 5 he couldn't sleep well anymore. I love you son" Jason says.
