"We can no longer go back to where w-we belong"

Jisoo POV

I lowered my head, biting on my lip because i can't stand watching y/n tear up "wh-what do you mean?!" She stood up and yelled, the Empress holds her hand.Caressing her back as she calms her down

"W-we've stayed here for too long already... The book can no longer bring us back to where we belong because... We're n-not existing in our time anymore"i stated still hanging my head low.I closed my eyes upon hearing her weeping already. I'm sorry Y/n i need to...i need to do this to survive...and to be able to go back in my time.I know im really being a bitch right now but i have no choice i...i wanna return back

"I-if you hadn't fucking made that damned shitty book then i wouldn't be in this fucked up situation right now.And what are you even doing in my time when i bumped in you on that elevator? You should've went here directly!!Why go there and messed my life up?for your fucking researches my life turned upside down!!"She yelled out again,i flinched at her tone.I clenched on my dress as the guilt continued tormenting me really hard

"Motherfucker.... So that's the reason why my sister doesn't know me anymo--"she didn't get to finish her sentence because of her sobs.I lifted my head up, and saw her crying hard.The Empress's fingers combing her hair while her other hand strokes y/n's arm

Y/n turned her head at me,i met her orbs and it's filled with range that made me swallow hard "Return everything back to what it used to.Make me fucking exist again in my time and return me back to my family"she spoke in monotone.Her face is blank,completely unreadable

She shook off the Empress embrace as she stood up and walked her way out of the gazebo. The Empress followed her with her stare and smirked "Are you sure it's not working anymore?"she asked,eyebrow up as she stares on her fingernails,i nodded my head and lowered it again "Yes" i muttered.My eyes widened at what she said next "I wonder how did the book ended up in your hands when i'm keeping it in my study room?"

I couldn't speak for a moment,i was completely stunned.I took a deep breath before i lifted my head up "U-uh the b-book...automatically return back to it's owner"i reasoned out.I stared at her unconvinced face,her legs crossed and her glowing fair legs showing because of her slit dress.

"Really?"she asked and chuckled, she stood up and walked out of the gazebo.She then stopped her steps and turned her head to me "That is a very unconvincing lie"after that she walked away as the maids follow her from behind "Jisoo you really are fucking...selfish.You're just like what they said"i mumbled

Chaeyoung's POV

"Where's y/n?"i asked the maids i've pointed to assist y/n when i bumped into them while walking through the hallway. "S-she's on your chambers your majesty"one of the maid spoke,her head hanged low.

I walked pass by them as they bowed then went to my chamber as fast as i can.The guards open the door,revealing a messy room.Everything on my room is messy.My things, my bed's duvet,a broken mirror scattered everywhere on the floor

I lifted my head up and saw y/n hugging her knees on the bed, her sobs make my heart break into pieces.I clenched my fist,gritting my teeth as i slowly approached her. I sat down beside her,placing my hand on her back

She lifted her head and stared at me with her puffy eyes,flood of tears still rolling on her cheeks.Then she hugged me,her head resting on my chest while her arms wrapped around my waist so tight

"R-rosie...m-my family"she stuttered between her sobs,her whole body is shivering.Her voice is shaking.My dress is already so wet by her tears.I slowly placed my hand on her head, i ran my fingers through her hair while i gently peck her on top of her head

She broke the hug and again stared at me "Y-you might've f-force her to say th-that right?t-this isn't true...i-i still can g-go back,y-you just threatened h-her to lie t-to me.P-please tell me you just threatened her...i beg you"she said as she wipe her tears.I furrowed not because of what she said,but because of the blood that sticked on her cheek when she wiped her tears

I grabbed her hand and spread her clenched fist.My eyes widened at the sight of her bloody palm and piece of sharp glass,Probably from the broken mirror "Yaaaa!! Answer me!!tell me this isn't true.Tell me that you just forced her!!You just made her lie to me!!"she yelled with her unsteady cracking voice

I ignored her and gently took the glass away from her palm "Why are you doing this?you're hurting yourself?!!" I didn't want to yell at her but i didn't get to control my voice anymore.I saw her flinch but then rolled her eyes after "This shit didn't even hurts...you know what's breaking my heart right now?!!it's the thoughts of me not being able to go back to where i belong anymore!!It hurts thinking my family don't remember me anymore coz im no longer existing to where i fucking spent my 23 damned years"

I gritted my teeth and let go of her hand.I stepped down the bed and started walking towards the door,ignoring her loud shouts from behind

"YAAA!!!YOU DAMN EMPRESS!!"

"TELL ME IT'S ALL JUST A SHITTY LIE!!"

"FUCKING PLEASE!!"

As i reached the door i turned around at her,she immediately stopped her yells "Y/n enough with your bitchy attitude,im not liking it"she raised her brow, rolling her eyes again and yelled "You're the one being a bitch!!" I shut the door closed and still hearing her loud yells as i walked through the hall

"Immediately send my royal physician to my chamber.Y/n's hand is injured.Tell him to be gentle,make sure Y/n doesn't get hurt while he's taking care of her wound,if not i'll slit his damn throat"

My servant beside me bowed before she walks away.I ruffled my hair and sighed heavily as all the things she said earlier echoed on my ear.Her once sparkling eyes became gloomy and i hate it,i hate seeing her like that.

"No Roseanne...This is what you want...her staying here with you"i mumbled, shaking my thoughts out of my head.Right!!that's right... I should be happy she's gonna be staying here.I should be grateful to whoever forced or whatever thing made that girl lie to y/n.I should be celebrating right now

The servant beside me flinched as i forcefully hit the wall "Y-your majesty i-i'll call a royal physician,y-your hand is bleeding" i massaged my temple and ruffled my hair,i took a deep breath before shaking my head side by side "No need"

I wiped the blood on my knuckles and lifted my head up after.I saw Lisa walking towards us "Your Majesty i've found something" she said."Let's talk in my study room" she then nodded and told the maids to leave.I sat down on my chair and leaned back as soon as we reached my study room and she stood up in front, she cleared her throat before speaking

"Your Majesty...someone from the North once saw that girl in Thernnor Reako"
