Today was a special day for one of your hybrids. Today you were celebrating the birthday of your fox hybrid, Yeonjun. You woke up extra early today to cook him up a special breakfast.

Trying to make as minimal noise as possible, you headed to the kitchen. While cooking his food, (and the other hybrids' food) you got out the decorations you bought from a week ago. You always liked to go all out for your hybrids since all they do is make you happy and you wanted to reciprocate the feeling.

You got up on the couch to hang some streamers and banners up on the ceiling and walls. You put up a banner that said "Happy Birthday Junnie!" with a cute little fox drawing to go with it.

Done with putting up banners and streamers, you got off the couch to go check on the food. You checked over every plate, checking that it looked and tasted good, not wanting to disappoint the hybrid. Satisfied with what you were seeing (and tasting), you went back to the living room to wait for your hybrids to wake up.

Spacing out for a while, you started to remember the day you first met Yeonjun. He was the first hybrid you had ever gotten and you're so grateful that he had stayed by your side for such a long time.

You had just gotten out of high school and were getting ready to move into your own apartment. Since your parents were very well off, they offered to pay for it in exchange for you to keep studying. You didn't mind the little 'deal' you had made with your parents and were very excited to get your own apartment.

Your parents had promised to check up on you once in a while and told you to call them if you needed anything. You greatly appreciated what your parents were doing for you and you started to get a bit melancholic at the thought of leaving them.

Putting the last few boxes in the moving truck, you got into your parents' car since they were going to drive you to your new location.

The drive there was relatively short since the apartment wasn't so far from your parents' place and your college was conveniently close too.

You 3 got out of the car, getting yourselves ready to say your goodbyes.

"Are you sure you don't any help with your stuff Y/n?" Your mother asked worriedly.

"I'll be fine mom! I think I've got this handled!" You gave her a confident smile to reassure her that you'll be fine.

"My little Y/n is already moving away! I'm going to miss you so much!" Your mother exclaimed while giving you the biggest hug she could give you. You wrapped your arms around her as well, giving her a bit of a squeeze to tell her that you'll also miss her.

"Make sure to not get into a lot of trouble! And don't go chasing over boys so much!" Your dad roughly ruffled your head while you tried to get away but still had a big smile on your face.

"Don't worry Dad, I'm not too worried about that stuff right now and I promise I'll keep myself out of trouble!" You gave your dad a big smile.

"I'll see you later my little one!" And at that, your parents drove away in their car.

You turned yourself around to face your new apartment. While you were talking with your parents, the movers were locating everything inside. You watched with a wide smile, your heart beating fast at the thought of living alone. Thoughts of what you were going to be able to do without your parents' supervision were going through your head. You couldn't wait to get settled in!

...

A few weeks had passed since you first moved into your apartment and you found yourself bored. This wasn't what you exactly imagined but was inevitable now that you think about it. Classes hadn't started yet so you were stuck inside. You were sprawled all over your couch, scrolling through every social media app you had on your phone. You gave out a small sigh, you wished your life was a bit more interesting.
