"Arabella, darling do you mind taking the cookies out of the oven?" Arabella's boss, Rose asks from the cashier.
Arabella dusts off her flour coated hands on her old apron, turns off the oven and takes the freshly baked cookies out of the oven. The scent of chocolate lingers in the kitchen while out front the scent of coffee is a lot stronger.
Arabella Angelica Adams works at the White Rose Café which is a small café that is not very popular but has very good products. It even has a small bookshelf where you can donate or rent out books.
Although Arabella loves this job and it fuels her love for baking, the salary is not enough to pay her rent. Over the past couple weeks she's been looking for a job that she knows she will be able to perform at efficiently.
She has seen some really good ones but hasn't gotten a response yet from any of the ones that she interviewed for.
She shakes her head and puts on a smile before going out to the cashier at the front of the café.
"Hello Jessie" Arabella says with her signature smile.
"Oh hi Arabella how are you doing" Jessie asks as her 4 year old daughter looks at the freshly baked cookies that Arabella just put in the glass case.
"I'm doing great thanks" She replies looking down at Jessie's daughter, Autumn and smiling.
Arabella has always been good with kids and kids surprisingly love her as well.
Jessie and Autumn are two regulars at the café. Jessie's 27 and her and her boyfriend Keaton had Autumn when they were both just 23. Which is a big thing to do.
Arabella has always admired their courage to take on such a big responsibility at such a young age. "I'm 23 and I have no clue what to do with my life" She thought.
"One iced lemonade tea and 3 cookies please" She chuckles at her daughter.
She prepares the requested items and gives them to Jessie.
"Ok so your total is $8.00" she says.
Jessie pays and immediately gives her daughter one of the cookies.
"Bye Arabella and thank you". she says.
"Bye Jessie say hi to Keaton for me" Arabella replies.
"Will do darling say bye bye sweetheart" she says to her daughter.
"Bye bye Ella" Autumn says, her voice muffled by the cookie in her mouth.
"Bye guys". she replied, turning back to wipe down the counter.
After a few more hours Rosé says that Arabella can go home.
She brings three of the extra cookies for her neighbors and bids Rosé goodbye.

After taking a cab home and giving her neighbors the cookies she takes a shower, changes and heats up some cup noodles to eat while scrolling through her computer looking for jobs.
After a long while of searching she finds a job opening at Knight Industries.
"Isn't that one of the biggest companies in the country?" She thinks to herself.
She shrugs "Worth a shot" she sighs after submitting the email.
She sends the email and hopes for the best. Texting her brother Aaron, goodnight and pulling the slightly thin blanket over her, her head hitting the pillow and before she knew it she was out like a light dreaming of a world full of marshmallows and and strawberry smoothies.
Arabella has an aura around her that can brighten up the darkest of hearts and put a smile on people's faces.
Alexander never smiles. His only exceptions being his mother and twin sister. But will he make another exception for Arabella and her aura of innocence?
