This story was another contestant idea during my writing class back in 2016. To be honest it's probably one of my lesser ones as I think it isn't quite as original as what I usually strive for, and I still feel I might be taking the planned conclusion a little too far. With that said, I still think it ought to have place in this collection, and I hope anyone who reads it likes it.
Random fact:
I am basically the girl in this story as far as being late for class goes. Fortunately I don't relate as much to her crippling anxiety. I used to have it bad when I first transitioned out of high school into uni, way back in 2009 (yeah, I'm that old), but I still remember what it was like. However, as with all my other stories with a female protagonist, writing from a girl/woman's perspective is a work-in-progress or me. I've always thought I think more like a female than a male in many regards. But I'm sure any feminist would shut me down and say I don't know a damned thing. They would probably be right.
