Baris and Zeynep walked into the hotel after their emotional meeting with Benal. She had promised to return with them to the city, and they promised that they would make sure she got her baby back.

The check-in clerk at the front desk asked if they wanted one or two rooms. Baris turned to Zeynep, his eyes saying everything he didn't want to put into words. His heated gaze warmed her skin and she pressed her hands to her flushed cheeks self-consciously. He was leaving it to her to make the decision.

She turned to the clerk and cleared her throat. "One. One room is fine."

Baris let out a barely perceptible sigh of relief, and wound an arm around her waist possessively, hugging her to him. She turned and smiled up at him and his blue eyes twinkled back at her.

They walked into the room, set the bags down and stood awkwardly. Zeynep looked around the room and saw the pitcher of water. "Do you want some water?" she asked, trying to break the ice.

He nodded at her, his eyes soft and knowing, he could sense her trepidation, and his heart filled that she had agreed to share the room in spite of it.

She handed him his water and downed a whole glass of her own. Then she took off her jacket and turned to lay it on the chair. He started to do the same with is own jacket, but stop dead when he saw the deep cutouts on the side of her top. When she looked back at him, her breath caught at the desire in his eyes, now a dark blue, like the deep end of the ocean, and she felt herself drowning in them.

"Zeynep..." he said, his voice gravelly.

"Do you want to watch some TV?" she said nervously, suddenly unprepared for the heat of his gaze and her own response to it.

He sensed her apprehension and changed the topic on her immediately. "Do you play cards?"

"Ne?" That...is not where she had seen the conversation going. "You brought cards?" she asked, confused.

"When we used to travel as kids, we would carry a pack or two with us, and the 3 of us, abla, Savas and I used to play. I guess it became a habit, I always have a pack on me when I travel," he grinned.

"Tamam." She smiled amused, settling on the bed, "let's play," she said, welcoming the distraction.

He said down across from her, and pulled out the cards. He flipped them over and studied the queen of hearts at the top of the deck for a minute, before looking back at her thoughtfully.

He lay the queen on the bed. "A long time ago, there was a very very beautiful princess," he said his voice low and husky, "kind of like you."

Zeynep blushed. She was still not used to his compliments, and he always sounded so sexy when he said them - it literally made her toes curl.

"Then she met a prince who wanted nothing more than to love her," he continued, his voice dropping even lower, rough and deep with emotion.

The tears sprang into Zeynep's eyes immediately, her heart filled and burst out of her chest. What did she ever do to deserve this beautiful man and his beautiful heart.

She reached across the cards between them, getting on her knees, and hugged him tightly, finally saying the words she'd kept protected inside her heart. "Sen çok seviyorum, Baris"

His strong arms immediately came around her, circling her entire body, his hands running up and down her side. "Ben de, seni," he said into her neck, his own eyes filling with tears. He'd been so desperate to hear those words. He thought he would have to wait an eternity, and he was willing to do it, but she surprised him, like she always did. And the love in his heart bloomed unrestrained.
