Nicks POV:
Oh, yes, you. Last time I talked to you, it was sunshine, lollipops and rainbows over here. Chloe and Josh in love, all of us friends, me and Brooke getting close.Oh, the good old days. That is, the days before now - now it's all different. It's dark. It's angry.

Josh's POV•
My lips collide and separate from Chloe's time and time again, up against the cool white wall of the Boy's locker room. The smell of the chill of the icy air of the rink wafts through the room, and mixes with the smell of sweat. And that wondrous smell is combined with the aroma of Chloe's Vanilla body-spray.My hand finds the hem of Chlo's shirt, and of course, at that exact moment, my father, who's also my coach, bursts through the door. And it takes me a moment too long to notice.
"Josh?" I hear his voice resonate through the empty, cold room. Chloe and I break away from each other, breathless. I clear my throat,
"Hey Dad."
I gulp as my father crosses the room, slowly and ominously, like a storm cloud, and Chloe bites her lip. Poor girl. Dad grits his teeth,
"Ms. Lukasiak, this is the Boy's room. No girls allowed, rink rules. Now go." Chloe nods meekly and scurries out, her ballet-flats clacking softly against the tile.
I speak up, "Dad, I'm sorry, it wasn't her fault."
My father holds up a hand, silencing me,
"I just came to say, good game, Son. As long as that was as innocent as you make it out to be, I don't think we have a problem, do we?" he raises an eyebrow.
"No, Sir." I manage.
"Good. Now, I'll be loosening the reigns." He says, and my heart skips a beat. Could this mean?-
"Yes, that does mean you can be with Chloe."
I do a victory fist-pump,
"Yes! Thanks Dad. I'm gonna go find her, pizza tonight, yeah?" I mumble, dashing out into the rink, where I slip-slide across the ice without skates, my warm breath making puffs of vapor in the freezing air.
"Chloe! Wait up!" I call, and she turns around, "C'mere!"
I manage my way over to wear she stands in the ice, and pull her close to me, as though we're one person, and then twirl her around, almost ice dancing. I'm just about to go in for a kiss when when we both go tumbling down onto the hard ground, laughing hysterically. Just how it should be.
