I don't even know if people like my story anymore...
I'm sorry I update my stories as fast as a sloth haha
I barely have time to write essays for school, so this I pretty much never get the chance to do.
Agghh I have all the ideas and stories in my head, but writing it out is so hard!!!!
Anyway, I hope you like it!

Alyssa's POV
"Follow me this way. Watch your step." The police man cautioned us. We were walking on the broken intersection full of gravel, glass, furniture, and debris from the erosion.
Wow. The ground is barely visible with all these remains lying everywhere. I am so devastated by the sight of the area, and I can easily tell that Nicole is awfully still in shock as well. So many surprises keep showing up everywhere that my mind is barely capable of comprehending the huge crash site we are about to see.
"Uh, just about a few meters down, there is a left turn and another police officer will lead you from there." The officer sincerely spoke as he slowed down. "I have to return back to my post. Good luck girls." I nodded as he turned and waved goodbye.
Nicole and I kept walking, silent for a few minutes, until I tried to break the confusion and shock filling our brains. "I was going to tell you earlier when I picked you up from school, but I was in so much shock, that I could barely move my mouth." Just in that slow and short confession, I felt so incredibly tired, like I have never spoke before. "How did you hear about this?" She responded barely audible, as a whisper. "The news. It was on TV at school. I sprinted out of class right away." After that, we were quiet for a while until we reached a broken down intersection, which we cautiously walked towards.
As we turned at the intersection, we both stopped and lifted our heads. Right in front of us. The large plane, shattered and burned, full of debris from the gravel. I couldn't help but have my mouth hanging wide open. I was literally shaiking from head to toe. Mom and dad. They, were in there. Or should I say, ARE in there. I took a deep breath and looked at Nicole. She stood there as pale as a ghost. "C'mon Nicole. Let's go."
After walking for about 15 minutes, examining the broken buildings around us, we finally found a police officer. "WHAT ARE YOU KIDS DOING HERE??!!! GET BACK! THIS IS A BLOCKED OFF AREA!" The police man yelled at us as we looked up at him. "Er, um, we.. were...ermm, sent...um..Another officer lead us this way. Our mom and dad were, um, were in that, crashed building." I shakily replied. "Oh, I am so sorry m'am. Uh, right this way." This time he spoke a little more sincere.
He lead us to the crash site, full of smoke and debris. There is glass everywhere and damaged furniture and broken appliances scattered throughout the area. As I examined, I found my dad's old chair that I clearly remember him delivering from our house, to this office. It was a couple years ago, when he was cleaning out his room in the house, and decided it would be a great chair for his office. I remember telling him not to, because I loved that chair as well. As I looked down at the ragged chair, the eyes started to water, full of strong memories. I keep trying not to cry. Stay strong Alyssa. Stay strong. You never know. They could still be alive. Don't give up hope. Not now, not ever. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a moment. My mind is barely capablle of capturing the position I am in right now. I am standing right on top of my family's old office. I have no idea where any member of my family is. I slowly walked towards the plane. "British Airways" it read. Britain. All the way from Britain, came a plane to ruin my family's lives. Britain. My thoughts got interrupted by an official of the investigation who came upon me. "M'am, may you and your sister please come this way." I shakily nodded in response. A bit curious to where he is leading us, I looked ahead to where we are going. Ambulances, firetrucks, police cars, helicopters, many, many, many people. When Nicole and I walked around to the other side of the damged plane, everybody, literally everybody, began to stare at us. To clear the awkward air, I looked down at the ground to avoid eye contact. When I looked down, I stopped. My old necklace. I got it from a small jewelry store down the street from our house and I wore it every single day. The day my parents left for New York, I let my mom take it with her, so she has something of me with her. I starred at it for long hard seconds then slowly picked it up off the ground. I took it into my hands, and squeezed tightly, holding back the tears again.
