Scott slammed his head down on the table when Stiles shot yet another question at him, "If Derek isn't the Alpha - if he's not the one who bit you guys - then who did?"
"I don't know," Scott's voice sounded muffled as he spoke with his head on the desk.
"Did the Alpha kill the bus driver?"
"I don't know."
"Did he pick you both on purpose?"
"Hm, I'm gonna take a guess so I may be very wrong," I mused, turning a bit to the right to face Stiles as I crossed my legs. "But I'm gonna go with 'I don't know'?"
Stiles looked very unamused at my jab and grew frustrated when Scott lifted his hand above his head to point at me, indicating that I got the answer right, making me smirk at Stiles victoriously.
"Does Allison's dad know about the Alpha?" Stiles pressed on, ignoring the kick to his leg that I gave him.
"I don't know!" Scott exploded, lifting his head up as the stress got to him.
Stiles gave me a look that said 'he just exploded out of nowhere!' and I rolled my eyes in response and faced the front again, not even bothering to try to correct him. He got even more confused at my reaction, genuinely not knowing what he did to cause Scott to rage.
The teacher walked by putting the tests that we did over a month ago on our tables, finally graded. On my desk, my test proudly had A- written on it and I looked over to Stiles to rub it in his face. Except, his test had an A on it. I sent him a nasty glare and stuck my tongue out at him, very maturely, when he turned to me, a very conceited grin on his face.
Stiles looked over at Scott's test and his eyes widened, "Dude, you need to study more!"
I took a peek at Scott's test that had D- written on it and I sent Stiles another kick causing him to yelp.
"Ow, Lexi! That was a joke. It's one test! You're gonna make it up. Fuck, I'm gonna bruise," he whined, rubbing the spot on his shin that I kicked twice dramatically.
"Do you want help studying?" I tried to be as encouraging as I could.
I don't know, man. I don't know how to be the supportive friend. I'm usually the snarkycomment mean friend.
"No, that's okay. I'm studying with Allison after school today," Scott gave me a tiny smile as thanks.
"That's my boy!" Stiles exclaimed and slapped Scott on the back, sounding extremely proud for what was just a study session.
"We're just studying," Scott attested, sharing a look with me before we looked back at Stiles to hear whatever ridiculous theory he was going to come up with.
"Uh, no, you're not," Stiles scoffed as if he couldn't believe how naive Scott was being.
"No, they're not?" I questioned, wondering how Stiles knew what they were going to do when Scott didn't.
