Chapter 15

" Are you in love  " asked Yibo out of the blue making Zhan freeze in his place, he blinked in confusion on why would Yibo ask this out of the blue, he regained himself once again, even though all he wanted to say was ' Yeah I'm in love, in love with you dummy, we both have been madly in love with each other ' but he couldn't say it, he was afraid Yibo's memory would rush back and he might affect his brain, in this fear, he gulped holding his tears in him as he looked up at Yibo and smiled " Yes, Yes I'm in love with someone ".

Saying this he continued to cook, but Yibo continued to stare at him, he sat on the dinning chair, while he sighed as his eyes feel upon Zhan who was now deep in his thoughts while cooking, it was as though he was feeling heavy in his heart, he shook his head while brushing off his thoughts. Yibo continued to look around the house, he wasn't in the same happy mood now, he felt a small weight upon his heart, but he didn't have any idea on why. On the other hand, Zhan face his cheeks get moist and that's the moment he realized he was crying. He was done with it, he didn't care if Yibo would get a severe headache from the truth, the least he could do was tell him at once and if he wanted or not, if Yibo accepted Zhan or not was solely his wish. He nodded his head at the decision made by him as he decided to tell Yibo after the dinner.

Later ...

The entire dinner was silent unlike the usual ones which would be where Yibo would make lot of jokes making Zhan laugh or Yibo would tell him lot of stories. But this was silent. Zhan sighed looking at Yibo, he decided to talk something since the atmosphere was really quiet " Yi.." Zhan started as Yibo got up " I have to go, I have some work to do " he said smiling in an awkward smile, Zhan stopped eating as well as he got up along with Yibo, but he asked him to sit, since he would close the door behind. Without any further words Yibo left the place, Zhan stared at the door the entire time, as silence filled his place once again. He wasn't in the mood to eat anymore, so he decided to wash the dishes and go to sleep to call it a day.

The next day ...

" Mama do you think I should tell him ? " Zhan sighed " I feel like people around him are not being open to him, I want him not to suffer anymore, if I tell him everything at once maybe his suffering would end then and there " Zhan had visited his mother's grave, whenever he would feel down or eel conflicted and sad he had the habit of visiting her grave and laying down some fresh lilies for since they were her favorites.

He sighed once more at the ultimate thing that may happen if he said everything to Yibo " But... If I said everything would Yibo still be willing to be in love with me? " Zhan mumbled to himself as he looked at his mother's grave " Time like this I really hope you give me a sign mama ~ " he sighed as his eyes clouded, not by tears, but due to the dust blew by the mild wind then he heard a familiar voice call him over " Zhan ~ " he turned to look who it was and immediately he smiled  as he walked towards Yibo, he knew it was Yibo's mother's anniversary and he would go to visit him, but he didn't have an idea that her grave was here as well.

He smiled as he walked towards him, while Yibo walked towards Zhan " Came here to see your mom ? " Yibo asked peeking behind Zhan where he had left the white lilies, Zhan nodded with a smile " And ... " Zhan trailed seeing the red roses in Yibo's hand " My mom as well, she loves red roses" he smiled, but it felt like as though he had some pain hidden in them, Zhan smiled in an apologetic way as his hands moved to pat Yibo's arm, while Yibo smiled back " I don't cry for anymore, I...  " Zhan nodded his head he knew the feeling well as he continued " You just wish she was here right now, right ? I understand you, I get that too ".
