Todd the Wraith(Guide) x Reader ABO AU

Chapter 5

With a start you wake up in your bed and sit up abruptly, which causes you to wince in pain. Looking down at yourself you see that your clothes had been changed from the lab gown you wore before, into your night gown. You strain your mind to remember what might have happened while you were under, that the Wraith deemed it neccesary to apparently carry you to your room and change your clothes. Slowly you get out of bed and make your way into your bathroom where the new full body mirror is attached to a wall.

You strip naked and look at yourself carefully and find bandages across your legs that weren't there before. Putting your left leg onto the closed toilet you move to remove the bandages there when your bathroom door opens again and the Wraith is standing there and you both just stare at eachother for a couple seconds before you lower your leg again and turn to him "Is there something you need Sir?"

He still is just standing there for a couple more seconds until he picks up your night gown and hands it to you "There were unforeseen complications during the last experiment which is why you have those bandages now. Do not remove them yourself, you might not want to see what is underneath until it is fully healed. Also, your bracelets are viving you a steady dose of pain medication in the amount needed for you to not feel the wounds. If anything is off, if the pain becomes greater or you start loosing the feeling in your legs tap twoce on the underside of your left bracelet." While he is talking you put your gown back on and look over at him from where you stand, deciding that closing some of that distance would be a good idea and that you want to have another good look at him  as if you weren't staring at him nearly every single time you both are together lately.

You don't know for how long you have been here now but atleast one or two of your heats must have come and gone without affecting you, just like he said at the beginning. In the past weeks you noticed your body change and it gives you the weirdest feelings about it even though you barely said anything against it. The weirdest feeling of it though, is the newest ine that has only presented itself in the last couple days. A feeling of being drawn towards that Wraith, of wanting to touch him and discover what he feels like, his skin, his hair, the muscles you are sure he is hiding underneath those leather clothes, his lips on yours. Before you realize it you are standing less then an armslength away from him and he's staring down at you his eyes ablaze,  not with anger or disgust but with the same fiery curiosity that is burning inside you.

"I thought you said I wouldn't enter a heat for as long as your experiments last? Why am I this drawn towards you then, this...intrigued by the thought of us sharing a bed, sleeping together? Why am I having dreams of us cojoined in the throws of passion?" You ask while lifting your hand, a hand that has changed drastically from looking Human to Wraith, to his face and softly stroke down the side of it until it stops lying on his jawline. His muscles there contract and relax repeatedly and he seems to want to say something but instead he takes your hand from his face with one hand and places the others onto the back of your neck and murmurs  "Because those are my dreams..."

With that you know that later you can't say you didn't see the kiss coming, only the intensity and his willingness were a surprise.
