Todd the Wraith(Guide) x Reader ABO AU

Prologue

It was a rather normal day on Atlantis when we left on an exploration mission to another planet in the city's database. The only difference was that you were going with the assigned teams even though you were nothing more then a civilian with a good strategic mind and a lot of money on your hands.

As soon as you went through the Stargate you were greeted with a green plain, a small forest a distance away and ruins rather close by the gate. "Alright everyone! I want every scientist paired with a soldier, I'm sure you all remember what happened last time. Ford, you and me take up first guard." Colonel Bates said after he took a look around and immediatly there was a buzz as to who was going with whom.

You kept to yourself and checked your backpack again if you had everything you needed to keep yourself occupied for the day when Teyla appproached you. "Hey Y/N! Would you mind if I accompany you? Rodney's obviously going with Sheppard." She says with a smile and you are relieved that you didn't have to approach someone first "I don't mind. Actually I was just checking if I had my drawing pad and it's charger, I wanted to paint some of the ruins from over there." You sling your backpack back over your shoulder while pointing over to some ruins that lay just past the others. Going first you make your way there taking note of how the ground changes from grass to stone sometimes, as if you were stepping onto remnants of an old street or walkway.

The two of you were walking past the other ruins when you noticed something "Hey Teyla, I think this was a village or even a city once. These ruins have different sizes but are build in a row and the ground sometimes sound like we're stepping onto stone. Could this be a city that had been raided by the Wraith long ago?"

"Most likely. But lets keep walking, Colonel Bates is not going to wait for us if we're late later on." A couple hours later you were nearly done with the scenery and wanted to start with adding in the humans when we heard the unmistakable sound of Wraith darts coming in.

You scrambled to get your stuff back together and save your painting on the go when you tripped over a couple stones that must've come loose from one of the ruins "Y/N! Are you ok? Come on they're nearly here!" Teyla yells but you fell onto your head and you were feeling the blood from the wound run down your face. "Take my backpack! I'm right behind you!" You yell back and continue running but you were too slow and the gate closes right in front of you, so you take out the gun that was hidden in your jacket and shoot at the darts that are circling around you until you get swooped up by a bright beam of light.

Hey ya'll. Just a word before the actual story begins, I have no idea as to how long this story will be or how often I'll update it. All I know is that it's going to be longer then my other stories and it's gonna be rather slow burn without explicit lemon. Also most of the story will go paralell to the canon story...
