Ch. 9

The New Directions won Regionals! And the best part of that experience was that Mr. Shue and Ms. Pillsbury got married!

They were in the choir room after performing and she came in with a minister! Mercedes was so happy for them.

Things were looking up for Artie, who got into the school he applied for in New York. It was a film school and he was going to be happy there. He loved directing.

As for the rest of them, they applied to and auditioned for schools in New York.

Ellen applied to NYU; Puck and Finn applied to the community college even though Mercedes and Quinn made them apply to NYU, too; Mike and Marcy auditioned for Juilliard; Brittany did, too; Santana auditioned for NYADA; Blaine auditioned for NYADA and Tina applied to Columbia. Columbia was doing a joint program with Pardue University where one got two degrees in four years. Quinn and Mercedes applied and auditioned for that. Mal applied for Columbia and Marcy was waiting to hear from Cornell. Sam applied to NYU because Quinn bullied him into it.

One really good thing that happened was Rachel got the part! They were all so happy for her. She called her friends in tears, she was so happy.

Marcy got her sling off. She still had to wear her casts for another month but she was happy to have some sort of freedom again. Beth was completely potty-trained. She didn't even wear training pants to bed anymore.

Puck and Mercedes were having sex again. It was a little weird at first because she was self-conscious. Her body was different now. But he was patient with her and now they were back to them.

She was really freaked out after having Raven because she found tiny bumps down there. Marcy and Quinn reassured her. Marcy said she'd had one after giving birth and Quinn got mad because she'd had three. Mercedes counted herself lucky with her two.

Gross things aside, Beth's birthday went well. No fighting this time. They had her party at the planetarium. She loved looking up at all the stars. Marc told her all about planets and her eyes were wide. It was so cute.

Speaking of Marc, he picked which team he would be playing for. As of June, he would be a Los Angeles Ram. They were all super proud of him and promised to watch every game.

Laura was excited to find a house down there and was waiting until the next week to go looking.

Mercedws dressed Raven. They were going to Princeton for Marc's graduation. It was amazing for him to be valedictorian. He worked really hard for it.

"Come on, Rae. Stop fighting Mommy." Mercedes frowned as she continued to hit her.

Raven flailed her arms and giggled.

Mercedes pursed her lips. She was giggling now but she'd cut up the night before. She was in the middle of teething and cried so much at night.

To be honest, it was a killer. Mercedes wasn't getting any sleep and the other housemates were getting agitated. Puck said she woke up half his neighborhood on the weekends.

She didn't even cry this much when Mercedes got her ears pierced. She knew she should have let Raven grow up and make the decision but she thought Beth and Mickey looked so cute with their earrings and Mally looked so roguish with his that Raven would look adorable, too.

It's better than the tattoo that Puck got with his brother. He didn't even tell her about it. He just got it after they got back from Switzerland. So she put her nose ring back in. It made her feel bad.

Heaven knew she was good enough.

Mercedes finally put Raven's dress on her and picked her up. She didn't need shoes. It wasn't winter anymore. She went to her things and picked it up then went downstairs. She put her in her high-chair. "Good morning."
