"Well here goes nothing," I mutter under my breath tiredly.

Walking through the front door I glance around the house and get a good look at the house. It has a very modern look. Definitely going to have to set up cameras. Can never be to careful.

"Alex will show you your room, dinner is at 7:30. Be ready please." Leo tells me.

I roll my eyes and turn towards Alex to follow her. We begin walking and pass by doors with huge gold plates on them. Huh, I would've thought that Valentino and Stefano would have shared a room.

"Well hurry on with it, I've got places to be and things to do! "I yell annoyed at Alex.

She picks up her pace and stops at the last door at the end of the hallway. She opens the door and I already fell in love with the room. I keep my expression blank, she doesn't need the satisfaction of seeing me happy.

"Do you like it?" She questions excitedly.

I nod and walk-in. Looking behind me I see her staring at me. I need to be alone right now, so why is she just standing there? I raise my eyebrows and tilt my head slowly. She quickly walks away and I turn back around.

Hopping into the shower, I wash my hair and find a body wash to use. I choose the Lavender body wash and Vanilla body scrub.

Grabbing a white fluffy towel I wrap my hair and find some lounge clothes that hide my tattoos a little bit. Tracing my hand over my wrist tattoo, subconsciously brings up memories that I need to keep the bottled down.

"It should have been me," I mutter to myself.

Walking out of my bathroom I see that it's already 7:00. I saw I had 30 minutes left and began to unpack.

After unpacking, I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yell.

In walks Valentino saying it's time for dinner. He quickly walks away and tells me to follow him.

I see big double doors and know that this is where my new journey starts. Fuck this shit.

I push the doors open and see everyone turn their heads to me. I roll my eyes and walk to the end of the table. Stefano scoffs and turns his head towards our dear beloved father or Leonardo as I call him.

I look up and see Leonardo staring up at me, before he can talk I interrupt him.

"So, I assume you have rules. Go ahead and explain them." I say while rolling my eyes.

He sighs and begins to list off the rules,

"1. You must respect your siblings, mother, and me." He looks at me for a reaction. "Yea you're hilarious. Who the fuck are you to tell me who I respect? No, respect is earned not given." I finish off glaring at him.

"2. Watch your language." He adds on sighing. "You guys are so funny," Sarcasm evident in my voice. "No, so everyone here can cuss but me. Yeah, fuck that." I add looking at everyone's face.

"3. Please don't go to the basement or third floor. Those are for work and I don't need you meddling around." He says. Dude I know you're in the Mafia is what I want to say but what I do say is, "ok I don't really want to be in your work business anyway."

"4. No drugs, cigarettes, sex, or drinking." He adds on looking at me curiously. "Yeah um no. You can't possibly tell me that no one does those things in this house. Do you think I'm stupid?" I question while stating the obvious. He exhales and looks down.

"5. Inform us where you are going, before you leave the house." He adds on. "That's not gonna happen. I've been on my own for 17 years, I'm not about to stop now." I say stating the obvious with a blank look on my face. They all look down with a flash of hurt in their eyes.

"6. Lastly, you will be going to school with Valentino, Stefano, and some of your cousins." I nod my head.

"Is that all because I'm hungry and we've been talking for the past 30 minutes," I say in a tired tone. He nods his head and calls the maids to begin serving the food. Silence envelopes the room and everyone begins eating.

I finish my food and sit up. "Knock before you enter my room," I say before walking out. Before I get out I hear Matteo yell, "You will be going shopping tomorrow with everyone so be ready."

Walking into my room I close my shades and turn off the lights. My head hits the pillow and I fall asleep quickly.

She has every right to think like that, we did leave her but it was for good reason. If only she knew then she would understand. It pains me to not be able to tell her.

I finish eating and I walk to my room. I head over to the bathroom to take a shower, while getting undressed I hear Leonardo walk in. I walk out of the bathroom and see Leonardo pacing back and forth running his hand through his hair.

He looks distraught, he stops pacing for a moment and sees me standing there.

"Leonardo are you ok?" I say with worry evident in my voice.

"No, she looks at us like she hates us. I hate myself for giving her up, we're strangers to her." he looks like he's about to break down.

"That's what we are to her," I start walking over to him.

"She doesn't know us, she has no idea why we sent her away. We can eventually tell her just not right now." I placed a comforting hand on his shoulder

"But, we could always try and win her back, it may take a while but we have to try to get to know our principessa Ok?" I say while wrapping my arms around him to give him a hug.

"Yeah," he mumbles into my shoulder.

Everyone walks away and leaves me and Alexandra alone. She glances my way and begins to get up. Before she walks out of the dining room she questions me,

"Why are you acting like such a bitch to her?"

She walks out and leaves me and my thoughts. When we had to send Aurora away I was devastated. She was my world. I hated myself because of everything I did to her when she was younger. I need to make her hate me. We can't get too close, we have too many enemies.

I step out of my seat and place my dishes in the kitchen.

Walking up the stairs I see Aurora's room and decide to go make sure she fine.

I slowly push the door and see her facing away from the door. Her breathing is even and she looks so calm.

I walk towards her and whisper into her ear, " Tiamo, mi dispiace per tutto quello che abbiamo fatto." (I love you, sorry for everything we did.)

I walk out of her room and walk back towards my room to get ready for bed.

Putting on pajamas, I lay in bed and as soon as my head hits the pillow I fall into a dreamless sleep.
