You'd had a long night, but it was such a relief. Cardo and Vicrul had come over for drinks, which started with splitting a quarter of a bottle of whiskey and somehow ended with a call to Ap'lek who brought reinforcements. Several bottles deep, knights sprawled out across your room, you found yourself completely and blissfully at ease. And thoroughly and undoubtedly wasted. Now, somewhere far south of mid-day, you found yourself roused by voices.
You'd slept in your bed, of course, and Cardo had slept on a makeshift bed made of extra blankets and one of the pillows from your bed. Ap'lek had passed out just minutes before you, lounged back comfortably against the far wall. And Vicrul, well last you'd seen him he was hurling away everything except his memories into your toilet. You peeked out of your right eye, staying snuggled up against your pillow as you surveyed the room. Cardo and Ap'lek were hunched together and talking quietly. No sign of Vicrul.
You groaned quietly, pushing against your tired limbs to sit up in your bed. Cardo and Ap'lek turned to face you.
"Shit, did we wake you?" Cardo asked; a sweet, concerned look stuck on his face.
You shook your head, smiling sleepily.
"No, don't worry about it. Where's Vic?"
You took a better look around your room. Discarded liquor bottles, Vic's scythe hung out in the corner next to your door, scraps of food were lying about half eaten, it was a mess. Still no sign of Vicrul.
"He's in the bathroom still. I think he slept in the shower." Ap'lek laughed.
You swung your legs over the side of your bed, throwing the comforter back to free you. Cardo jumped toward you.
"I'll get him out, I'm sure you want to shower." Cardo smirked at you and you couldn't help but shoot a flirty grin back at him.
You didn't exactly want to fuck him again, it was great the first time and all, but you knew Cardo just wouldn't measure up to Kylo. You thought of Kylo for the first time in 12 hours, he popped back into your mind like he'd never left, and guilt bubbled up. No. No, you honestly looked to Cardo like a brother, easy to laugh around and comfortable enough to spend loads of time with, but completely plutonic. You hoped he felt the same way.
Cardo swept past you into the restroom, and you could hear quiet rumblings from the other side of the door. Soon enough, Cardo returned with his brother in tow. Vicrul staggered groggily into your living space, leaning heavily onto Cardo for support, and Ap'lek leapt up to assist. You stifled a giggle under an inconspicuous cough. Though not hidden well enough, it seemed.
"I'll remember this next time you're hungover, my lady." Vic grumbled good naturedly.
You let out a full laugh at that, beginning to pace towards the restroom he'd just vacated. The boys reached the door when you called out to them.
"Hey! Any of you want to join me for a late breakfast in the cafeteria?"
Vicrul audibly groaned, which made Cardo and Ap'lek snicker at his sides.
"I'm going back to bed." He mumbled into Cardo's shoulder.
Ap'lek spoke up next.
"I'll chill with him in our room until he sobers up." He poked Vicrul's side.
"Don't want you to drown in your sleep, man."
Vic grimaced, forcing a strangled 'hardy har, har.'
Cardo turned back, halfway out the door.
"I'll go back and shower, but I'll be back here in twenty and we'll go eat."
You flashed him a wide grin.
