There's a Sisterinnit?

Chapter 8

"Go over the plan again, just so we don't mess anything up." It was Saturday night in England. Sapnap was getting ready to go to the airport for his flight to the UK. 

"My first flight is from Houston to Pittsburgh, about 3 hours. Then from Pittsburgh to London, around 10 hours 30 minutes. I'll be landing around 4:30 your time at Heathrow airport. You'll be there to pick me up," Nick explained for the last time. 

"Ok, I'll leave my house around 1:45 to pick you up. Tom said we can stream on his setup to let fans know you won't be active all summer," Devon explained. 

"Ok, yeah we can do that. I think Clay is planning on doing a face reveal when he gets here so the 4 of us will stream with George," Nick added. 

"This is going to be the best summer ever," Devon flopped down onto her bed. "You should probably get going, huh? I need to sleep anyway."

"Yeah, my uber will be here soon," Nick sighed. "I'll see you in a bit. Can't wait."

"Be safe, see you soon," Devon hung up. It was around 2 am so she decided to go to sleep before her drive to London.

Distant chatter was heard throughout the Pittsburgh airport. The normal calling of missing passengers, and some not so subtle whispering and camera clicking from teens and young adults. A few people had approached the boy and asked for pictures, some even asked where he was traveling to, he just responded with a simple 'wait for tomorrow' and walked off. When it was time for him to board his second plane, he pulled out his phone. 

Devy:)

N: about to board second plane. i assume you're still sleeping so i might pay to get wifi in a few hours. text me when you get this

He boarded his plane and found his seat. Thankfully only one other person got a seat in his row, so the middle was empty. Nick had gotten the window seat. Being able to lean against the cold wall calms him in a oddly comforting way. 

After the emergency speech, the plane took off. Most people hate the feeling of taking off and landing, but Nick had always loved it. Trips to visit family that lived in America, he'd always beg to fly just for the rush he got when they took off. Going to Greece was always the best because the plane had to go much faster because of how big it was compared to national fights. 

It was now around 3 am for him, Texas time of course, and Nick was incredibly tired. He turned on Netflix on his phone, put in his airpods, and took a nap. He decided that when he woke up, he'd buy wifi for the rest of the flight so he could text Dev.

Devon woke up around noon. She immediately got out of bed and ran to the shower, and took one of the longest showers ever, almost an hour. She then got ready, doing her makeup and fixing her hair, trying to look the best she can for Nick. When she looked at her phone, it was 1:30. She also noticed a text from the boy himself.

N: about to board second plane. i assume you're still sleeping so i might pay to get wifi in a few hours. text me when you get this

D: Idk if you have wifi or not- but I woke up like an hour and a half ago and just got ready, about to leave to head to London. Can't wait to finally hug you:)

N: i just woke up too. what time is it there? 

D: Around 1:35, going to stop and get coffee when I get close, want anything?

N: actually yeah:) can you get me a iced black coffee w a splash of oat milk?  

D: Yes yes, will do
