i hear the alarm clock and turn over to see clay not there. i turn off the alarm and open my eyes, then i see clay walk in. wearing nothing but his sweats , usually hes dressed by now. instead of hime trying to get me out of bed he gets back into the bed and cuddles me
"i called the college and told them we need to take the week off because of a family issue"
"clay you didnt have to do that"
he sits up
"you need a break and i can see it, im going to get breakfast, do you want a water or some fruit? even just a few?"
"uhm sure but probably wont eat at the moment"
he gets up and about 5 minutes later he comes back with a bowl of fruit and two waters
"thanks" i say as he sit back in bed
"wanna binge another season of 'How I Met You Mother?"
i chuckle "sure"
