"Do you like hide and seek?" A deep voice asked, tightening his grasp on his knife. She was hiding in the bathroom stall, her hand clasped over her mouth. His footsteps were loud, tapping on the cold floor, as he got closer and closer to where she was hiding. "Come on... I know hide and seek was your favourite game." He was practically outside of the stall door, knowing she was there. Tears streamed down her soft cheeks- the 11 year old girl was a crumpled heap on the floor. He slammed the door open, and she gasped, looking up. In just a few seconds, he raised his knife, and her blood was spilled.2021
"Lilias! Have you packed your suitcase yet?!" Her mother called from downstairs."I'm almost done!!" Lilias called back, stuffing a bunch of random things from her room into the suitcase.
(This is what I imagine Lilias to look like, but you can imagine her however you want! She is 15 btw)
Lilias could hear her mum coming up the stairs. She quickly threw a few more clothes in the suitcase and zipped it up. That should do it.
"I can't believe your packing your things so last minute," her mum said, standing in the doorway, "Your leaving tomorrow!"
"I know, I know. I'm done now anyway." Lilias replied, grabbing her phone from her bed. Her mum sighed jokingly, and went back downstairs. Lilias went straight to whatsapp, to text her friends.
Lilias: I'm gonna miss you guys
Cora: same :((
Bruno: PROMISE that you will still text us BSHSHSMDM
Lilias: I WILL DW
Piper: Good luck at your boarding school tho :)
Lilias: ty I'm gonna need itLilias sighed, turning her phone off. Lilias desperately didn't want to leave her old school, since all her friends were there. Yet, she had no choice because her parents needed to go overseas for their job. She was quite excited about having dorms though, she had only ever been on school residentials. She thought it would be fun to go to each other's dorms and sneak in late at night. She wanted to go to sleep early, since she knew she would have to wake up early for her first day tomorrow. Especially since the school was about 45 minutes away.

She watched the trees fly by, and the small droplets of rain scatter against the car window. Lilias was actually quite fond of the school uniform- it was better than her old school's uniform- it had a dark red pleated skirt, with a dark blazer and a red tie, matching the skirt. After a few boring minutes of watching drops of rain race each other on the window, the car came to a halt. Lilias could see that they had finally arrived at the school. With a trembling foot, she stepped out of the car, where her and her mum were both greeted by the headmaster and an older student. They were both wearing polite smiles, which Lilias couldn't seem to take seriously. After her mum had a quick chat with the headmaster, they both said their goodbyes.
"I hope you like it here." Her mum said, smiling, as she stepped into the car. Lilias waved her mum goodbye. The headmaster turned to Lilias.
"Hello, Lilias. One of my best students will give you a guided tour, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask him." The headmaster gave Lilias a friendly grin, leaving her with some random student. Lilias was trying so hard not to light, just because of how posh and stiff the boy looked, standing there.
"So, what's your name...?" Lilias said, trying to contain her laughter. But, as soon as the headmaster had left out of sight, he relaxed his posture.
"Hey. I'm Tristan." Lilias was quite surprised at his sudden change.
(This is how i imagine Tristan lol)
"I'm Lilias." She said, before getting pulled away into the school.
"Just saying, the headmaster is really serious about stupid stuff like language and posture. Just do what I do, act all mature when he's around." He murmured, quieting his voice. Lilias nodded and Tristan began showing her around.
She thought it would be more modern, however it was the opposite of what she had imagined. He pulled her through the towering doors, revealing a large room, with lots of empty tables. She figured this was supposed to be where you eat your lunch. The walls were made from bricks and the wooden floor left a satisfying sound with every step. He showed her around the school, and it was very old fashioned. It smelt old, but she liked the interior. As he led her through various hallways, she knew she would definitely get lost because of how big it was. They stood outside busy classrooms with students inside, where Lilias peeped in through the window. Ancient-looking, rimmed paintings were hung on the walls- their eyes seemed to follow you.
After seeing all the classrooms and the courtyard, Tristan led her up even more stairs and stopped at a hallway which split into two ways: left and right.
"This is where the dorms are. Boys are on the left and girls are on the right. Do you know what number your dorm is?" He asked, wanting to check with her before he left.
Lilias racked her brain, trying to remember which room number her mum had said. "I think my dorm is number 15."
Tristan nodded. "As long as your sure. See you around." He gave her a quick smile, before disappearing down the hallway. She lugged her suitcase down the corridor, looking at all the numbers on the doors trying to find 15. When she found it, she tugged at the handle and the door sprang open. The room was quite impressive, but still had an old design to it. It was relatively small, but had a desk, a bed and a large wardrobe. As she sat on the floor and began to unpack her heavy suitcase, she noticed a small box, from underneath her bed. Curiously, she reached her hands out and pulled the box from under her bed.
