Bedroom Window (David Lee Roth)

   A steady rap tap sounded on your bedroom window, causing you to jerk your head up off the pillow. David Lee Roth stood on the tree limb that hung just outside your bedroom. You slipped out of bed and hurried to push the window up.

"What the hell are you doing here?" you asked, pulling David into your bedroom.

"I've come to see you of course," he answered in a matter-of-fact tone. He wore a leather jacket that was open to his bare torso. His long blonde hair was tucked behind his ear making him look vulnerable. You tore your eyes away from him and sighed.

"If my parents know that a rockstar is in here they would freak out," you said, sitting on the edge of your bed.

"They don't have to know. I'll be gone before morning. Besides I needed to see you," David said sitting on the bed beside you. "I ... I want to ask you something."

"Well?" you whispered peering through the dark at him.

"Umm ... Y/N would you be my girlfriend?" he asked looking into your eyes.

"Oh my god! Me? Why me?"

"I know I shouldn't be saying this now but I love you Y/N. I've loved you since that night a couple of months ago when you nearly ran over me," David said chuckling under his breath as he recalled the memory.

You smiled shyly as you to recalled that crazy night. "I love you more than you'll ever know," you whispered back.

David sighed with relief as he wrapped his arms around your waist. He leaned in and caught your lips up in his. You moved in synch until you heard shuffling footsteps. David pulled away and turned to the door.

"Come over here" you whispered from the window. "They'll check my sister's room first."

He turned and stepped in front of the window. Before he climbed out he pulled you in for another kiss. The footsteps were getting closer. Reluctantly you pulled away and smiled up at him. He sent you a wink before he climbed out onto the tree limb. The door nob was starting to turn as you jumped onto the bed.
