"Eda, you look so beautiful. Like a princess," said Melo.

Eda looked at her bridesmaids for round 2. Eda's heart was beating fast with anxiety. She and Serkan would be married this time and it would be perfect.

"Eda, relax" she told herself. Everything will be perfect.
***********

Time stopped when they saw each other. They both felt it. Eda and Serkan. Their eyes only for each other. This connection and bond was so strong. She knew his heart and he knew hers. In that moment, their hearts beat at the same time. The same rhythm and perfectly in sync.

He looked so handsome in his tuxedo. He looked perfect. She was ready to spend the rest of her life with this man. She couldn't wait for their life together.

************
The whole wedding was nonsense, Serkan thought. He just ignored most of it and it seemed to fly by. But he had the weirdest warmth in his chest when he put the ring on Eda's finger. He could feel her pulse in her hand. It seemed to be the same rhythm as his. He had to stop himself from physically taking his pulse. His whole mind was clouded because he only had one thought in his mind.

Mine. She's mine.

It felt so familiar. It was comforting seeing her big flower ring on the hand it was meant to be on. He could feel eyes burning on him, watching them marry. He ignored them because tomorrow it would be over with.

**************

Eda slipped into her wedding night lingerie. She wanted to go slow, but tonight would be about them. She walked into the dimly lit room where her husband, Serkan Bolat, was waiting for her.

She held her breath as she prepared to see his eyes soften when he saw the soft, white silk that hugged her curves.

"Serkan...Serkan?"

He was sleeping! Like a log. On their wedding night. And softly snoring. Of course! Eda didn't know whether to laugh or cry. After everything they'd been through though, she laughed softly. It was an exhausting few months, but now they were married and nothing would stop them.

She crawled into the bed next to him, but he turned away from her in his sleep.

"Senden nefret ediyorum, Serkan Bolat" she whispered softly to him and then kissed his shoulder blade. She could feel his instinctual shudder. Even softer she said, "But I love you more than anything."

She fell asleep quickly, not realizing when Serkan opened his eyes and turned around to look at her sleep.

"Gunaydin, Ahmed Bay. Do you have the paper work drawn up?"

"Evet, Serkan Bay. The annulment papers are here, but I think we should go over the prenuptials that you signed first. Let's talk first."

"Ahmed, there's nothing to talk about. This is what I want."

His lawyer was back at Artlife first thing this morning. Eda was with Melo and Ceren getting coffee. He had asked they both come to the conference room for a meeting. He would finally be rid of this woman once and for all.

At that thought, though his chest became tight with pain. Serkan, you need to get back to Eda. He shook his head, forcing the thoughts down.

Okay, his body viscerally reacted to her. She was gorgeous. And, he couldn't shake this feeling that there was something connecting them. But he just wanted things to go back to normal.

A knock came from the door.

"Serkan, I was thinking we should have dinner tonight to celebrate...oh Ahmed Bay. Good to see you. Serkan told me you were coming this morning. How are you? I'll have to tell my father you were here," Selin said beaming as she walked into the room. Selin was happy today. Serkan could feel a pounding headache.
