A cry rang out through the hideout as it fell on deaf ears, or so thought.

Pain followed the sound of the crying and found himself in front of the child's room. He opened the door and the crying intensified. 'Aren't the rooms sound proof?'

"Stowwp itttt, pweaasseee I diddnn'tttt dwooo ittt." Naruto cried in his sleep twisting and turning. He walked over to Naruto before picking him up by his collar.

"Stop crying."

Naruto's body shook at the new voice voice before his eyes opened. "Who- who awe ywu?" 

"I am pain."

Naruto giggled before introducing himself. "Hi Mwr. Pwain my nwame is Nawuto Uzumaki." he grinned. Pain tilted his head staring at the child. 'Intriguing.'

"You're coming with me to my office." he walked out the room still holding Naruto by shirt as Naruto giggled.

'Intriguing indeed.'

"Nagato have you-" Konan stopped herself as she watched Naruto float around the office with Pain staring him. "Hwigher, hwigher." Naruto giggled

A smile itched it's way onto Konan's face as she saw a smile on Nagato's face, it's been a while since he've smiled. Maybe Naruto was what the ataksuki needed.

"Kaa-san!" yelled Naruto diving towards Konan from the roof. "Cawwot made me fly." hw squealed excitedly pointing to Pain. 

"Carrot?" Konan chuckled.

"He refused to call him Pain." chuckled Nagato.

"Kaa-san, why is uncle Nagato controlling him?" Naruto whispered loudly.

Konan and Nagato looked surprised and Nagato's eyes turned cold. "And how do you know that?"

"Because his spirit is following the body but isn't in it, you also have a white string attaching you together." he stated as if it was obvious.

"Your speech." Konan said in shock.

"Huh?"

"Nevermind." Naruto shrugged before running over to Pain and whispering. "I told him but he still didn't let go of your body...... But I just asked....... Fine" Naruto ran back.

"Uncle Nagato, uncle Yahii said you release his body so I can bring his spirit back because he's linked to the body and............Is tired of you doing nonsense with it." Naruto communicated.

"Yo-you can speak with him.?" asked Nagato in shock. Naruto simply nodded. 

"Well? are you?"

"Am I what?"

"....Going to stop controlling him so I can put hi spirit back."

"......."

"Konan, remove the rods. I want to see if Naruto speaks the truth." 

Konan nodded placing Naruto down on the ground before moving over to Pain. Nagato ceased his control over the body and Konan started removing the chackra rods.

"My turn." Naruto squealed making his way over to Pain, he started muttering words neither Konan or Nagato recognized.

Pain or rather Yahiko's eyes opened. "YOU IDIOT."

"Naruto are you hungry?" 

"Yes koko-nii-san."

"KONAN,UN."

Konan walked into the kitchen after hearing her name being yelled. "What?"

"Why does leader-sama look like that? un" "Gather everyone we'll be having a meeting to discuss that matter, we'll start at 2." 

"So in 2 hours ok, un."

"Naruto can you explain what happened? asked Tobi. 

Naruto then proceeded to tell the ataksuki about seeing the ghost, the white string and the healing Nagato to full strength.

The members stared in shock. 

"Also Nagato nii-san told me about Uzugature, why don't we go live there? Since you know, it's uninhabited."

"That's genius Naruto-kun." praised Deidara causing Naruto's cheeks to go red. 

"That's not a bad idea, we'll have to rethink our 'other' plan." Nagato said emphasizing the other. 

"What other plan?" Naruto asked cutely.

The members looked at each other. 

"Um, well, yo-"

"Naruto didn't you want to tell me something?" Itachi interjected.

Naruto thought hard trying to remember.

"Yess! Shisui-nii." he exclaimed before going on the ground to try and summon him.

'Thank god.'

"Shisui?" Itachi question, 'No it has to be another Shisui, the Shisui I know is dead.' Itachi shook his head before turning his attention back to Naruto.

'I can't find the paper nii-san gave me but I think I remember it.'
