"The trouble with denial is that when the truth comes, you aren't ready."
― Nina LaCour.
"What are you doing?"
Jungkook asked when he finally stood just before them. Chaeyoung could feel Taehyung's gripped around her shoulder got even tighter.
Her eyes roamed the room and noticed that they were all looking at the three of them. Yoongi, who is sitting alone in one of the chairs, just shook his head, throwing her a questionable smirk, Jin and Hoseok still in their previous seat, but their body language screams awkwardly along with Namjoon, who looks torn as to whether he wanted to interfere with the situation or not before it's too late.
He then looked back at Taehyung, who seemed calm despite Jungkook's deadly gaze at this moment.
"Huh? What am I doing?" He asked and then proceeded to look at Chaeyoung, who still had a shocked expression on her face, casting his infamous boxy smile with mischievous eyes.
"I greet my favorite girl, as always." Then he looked at Jungkook once more with an innocent look, "Is there a problem?"
Jungkook stood still, he didn't know why he approached them in the first place. But after seeing how comfortable his hyung was as he peppered Chaeyoung's face with her kisses, the need to stop them became unbearable.
But now what should he say? He looked like an idiot calling Taehyung, but he didn't know what to say next.
Jungkook is playing with the sleeve of his navy blue shirt and tucked it up, flexing his veiny arms before tilting his head to the side, trying to find other reasons that might make sense.
"Shouldn't you be telling the waitress to serve us the food, you are booking this place right?" Jungkook said with an uncertain expression on his face, "Everyone has arrived so we can have dinner." He argued looking away, avoiding Taehyung's confused gaze.
Taehyung frowned. "I never make a reservation for you "
"It's me, Kook. You asked me this afternoon to find a decent restaurant for us. Jin paused, Jungkook nodded, then looked at Taehyung with an angry grimace on his pretty face.
"Sorry hyung, I thought it was you." Jungkook said but Taehyung then shook his head, "No, I could tell the waitress if you want."
He nodded after hearing Taehyung's words.
"Chaeyoung-ah, do you want to accompany oppa?"
Taehyung said and it somehow irked him even more, Jungkook could feel he was so close to lose his cool. And oppa? Jungkook find it weird and pathetic to call yourself as oppa. Especially when Taehyung said that to Chaeyoung, there's nothing more corny than that.
He raised his eyebrows, not realizing that his jaw was clenched so tightly.
"Are you a child? Why did you have to asked to accompanied for calling the waitress? Jungkook asked, completely forgot that he was younger than Taehyung, but the anger he felt made him abandon the honorific he needs to use.
"That's right." Taehyung muttered to himself before looking at Jungkook with an innocent smile, "Make sure to keep my seat next to Chaeyoung, okay?"
And with this it is on the way to inform the waitress, secretly Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Jimin have sneaked out of the room to come up with another plan.
***
"WHAT?" Taehyung asked with wide eyes, now all five in the hallways of the restaurant. Then he jumped up from his foot and groaned.
