🥀 Sadly, there's still zero update about Rosé solo huhu🥀
ENJOY!
In fact, he is taking her to one of the steakhouses and has ordered a bottle of Dom Pérignon and filet mignon. Chaeyoung could feel that she would explode in this place, "Put on a smile, princess. Your wish has just been fulfilled. "
"Fulfilled your ass, no one asked you to do this," she said with stern voice, Jungkook laughed, "Well, it's a favor that one friend do to another,"
"Friends always did their best to cheer their other friend when they are down." Chaeyoung scowled, "Who are you to tell? Of course I know that."
"That's what I'm doing with you right now, Miss Rosie. You absolutely just had the shittiest day in a while,"
Chaeyoung widened her eyes in surprise but Jungkook just shook his head, "Don't be surprise, you acted a little more bratty than usual. It's so easy to guess."
"Just because I told you we're friends doesn't mean you know me that well." She murmured as she took her glass of champagne and drank it, trying to reduce the burning sensation that still lingered in her heart.
"Then I still have forever to figure you out."
Chaeyoung widened her eyes, shocked with both Jungkook words and how he say it, he say it so soft that she couldn't believe she actually heard it from him.
"What's gotten into you? Why are you being so nice to me?" She asked with her almond-shaped eyes that flash curiousity, Jungkook push his hair backward, "Well, I always nice with my friends,"
Then he dropped his gaze, as if avoiding Chaeyoung's burning curious stare, "So don't feel so special."
Chaeyoung didn't know what happened, but she could feel her heart shrink a bit when she said that. To be fair, who in their right mind wouldn't be happy if someone acted differently and in a very nice way to you, right?
But, she tried to shake the feelings off immediately.
"So what happened?" His voice interrupted her thoughts, she just shook her head, didn't really want to talk about Jaehyun with Jungkook.
"Nothing." She said, but after she said that, Chaeyoung let out heavy sigh and grab both the knife and fork to cut her steak. She makes no effort to hide her emotions right now.
"Should that convince me?" she raised her eyebrow, looking up to see the concern look that adorning Jungkook's face, "What?"
"Should your heavy sighs and sad eyes convince me that you are okay?" As she listened to what he said, Chaeyoung looked down, slicing up the steak with trembling hands. It's been a long time since whose attention has been so warm, it's quite strange because this energy is emitted by someone that she would never expect to have such power over her.
"I never said I was okay, Jungkook." She murmured, but loud enough for him to heard. "I just said that it's nothing, kinda assure myself that it was nothing, it had no power over me anymore. I know that I'm not okay in one point but saying it out loud making me feel weaker than I should.." She took a deep breath, "So can we please drop it?
She raised her hand who hold a fork that already had a piece of meat there with a small smile, "Let's just eat well," Jungkook still looked at her, Chaeyoung know that Jungkook still not satisfied with her answer, maybe pushed her to tell him more. But she felt relieved when she saw that he's actually nodded and start cut his own steak.
"How's your day by the way?" Chaeyoung asked, feeling curious. "Well, my solo release just around the corner, so kinda busy."
"Why are you here then?" Jungkook laughed after hearing the question from Chaeyoung, "Princess, I need to eat too."
