Chapter 12 [Confused feelings]

"Sho.... Shoyo!" Kenma said as he gasped for air. They've been running after him but he wouldn't listen. Natsu didn't know what was going on but she didn't question it.

"W-Wait... up!" Bokuto groaned, "You... You're going too fast!" Hinata finally stopped, but that's because he arrived home.

He turns to face his little sister, "Please don't tell mom about this...'kay?" And gives her a painful smile. She nods and smiles back, "Okay."

Kenma and Bokuto finally catched up to them. They regain their posture as the Hinata's mom opened the door. "Oh? Back so early? Did it end already?"

"Yeah mom, it was fun!" he faked smiled. "Oh im glad you boys, and girl, had fun! Come in!"
They walk past her and Hinata goes to his room. They follow.

As soon as he closed the door, tears flow.

"Sho-"

"WHY DIDN'T HE TELL ME HE WAS ENGAGED!"

"Sho.... We didn't know either..." Kenma says.

"He did it on purpose didn't he."

"Do what-"

"He kissed me Kenma!" Hinata yells "He kissed me.... He kissed me and made me feel some sort of way. He did it on purpose didn't he?!"

Bokuto stays silent.

"There has to be some sort of misunderstanding Sho, I don't believe he'd do that just to hurt you." Kenma responded. Hinata was too mad to even say Kageyama's name. The party was still going on and he didn't even say goodbye to the others.

But there was no way he was going back now.

He decided that he'd apologize tomorrow. But at that moment he had to apologize to them first.

"Bokuto, Kenma, I'm sorry for ignoring you guys. I should've at least stopped for you guys to catch up to me. I didn't mean to leave you guys behind. I was just so mad I-"

Kenma interrupted him and hugs him with a tears flowing from his face. " Its okay I understand! you looked so hurt I couldn't bear to see you like that. So i forgive you! I was never mad at you to begin with"

Hinata was shocked. His childhood friend was crying right in front of him. This made Hinata feel guilty but at the same time surprised. Its the first time that he has seen Kenma cry in years. "Don't cry Kenma, its okay. Im okay now, but mostly im happy that you actually care about me."

"What are you talking about. I've always cared about you since day one. I just never show it."

"Welp I'm gonna go ask your mom if she has snacks Hinata." Bokuto stands and walks out of the room. Kenma and Hinata look at each other, shrug, and keep hugging. Its the nicest hug Hinata has ever received from Kenma and he didn't want to let go.

Kenma didn't admit it, but he felt the same way about Hinata.

Sigh~

"What's wrong Tobio-San?"

"Akaashi, I'm still confused. I mean I know what happened but that doesn't explain why he left so suddenly" Kageyama responds.

"Well-" Akaashi gets abruptly interrupted by a slam.

"WELL WELL WELL, If it isn't Akaashi! And Tobio, why are you still sulking. You've been like this ALL MORNING. Get over it! Anyways both of you move aside, the breeze is fantastic today and it's perfect for my hair!" Oikawa gently shoves Akaashi and pushes Kageyama aside .

"Why do it here, the garden is better."

"Yeah well your balcony has the best view of them all and I wanna see it." He pulls out a mirror and styles his hair.

Kageyama rolls his eyes and just turns away.

As soon as Akaashi opens his mouth to speaking, Iwaizumi, whom came out of nowhere, taps him on the shoulder and points out Kageyama's bedroom door for him to follow. Akaashi nods and they both walk out without making a noise.

"Sorry, he wants to talk to him. But now that we are alone let's catch up, also did you hear about what happened in Oikawa's kingdom last week?" Iwaizumi says as they walk away.

"No but I believe Suga wouldn't want to miss this, let's go find him" Akaashi responds.

"Ugh this mirror has a crack on it. I'm gonna have to get another one soon."

"What do you want from me this time Oikawa." Kageyama asked with a frown.

"That's no way of speaking to your Senpai Tobio-Chan. And, I was waiting for you to ask. What took you so long."

Kageyama turns to face the village. Ignoring Oikawa.

"Anyways, I want to know what happened. Why did he run off like that." He said with a calm voice.

"That's what I'd like to know. All I did was kiss him and-"

"WHAT!? YOU KISSED CHIBI-CHAN?"

"Yes now pay attention. He was crying and complaining about... personal stuff and I wanted to comfort him but the only thing that came to my mind was to kiss him. But I don't understand why he ran away."

"YOU KISSED HINATA!?"

"YES but that's not what I'm worried about."

Oikawa just stares at him with a shocked look on his face. After a while he calms down and processes everything.

"So, you invited Shoyo to the dance because you got jealous that he and Kenma might have something going on and when the party happened you got the sudden impulse of kissing him. Not only that, moments later, he finds out you're engaged and runs away."

"Yeah I know. Thanks for shoving it in my face." Kageyama leans on the balcony and rests his head on his hand.

"I mean i would be pretty upset too." Oikawa puts his mirror down. "If you don't do something you might loose him."

"Huh-"

"Tobio, you are going to loose him. You are getting married soon. If you don't do anything about it now he's going to be gone forever."

"I-"

*knock knock knock*

"Prince Tobio, Prince Toru. It's time for the Royal meeting with your parents." A maid interrupted.
