Chapter 1 pt2 [They Meet]

Kageyama's POV

"Hey Tobio, where is Iwa-Chan? I gotta show him this shirt I took from you! It looks WAYYYY better on me!"

"I don't know Toru-Chan. Maybe you should go look for him..."

"You know what, you're right. IWAAA-CHAANNN"

He runs out of my room, with a cape and a toy crown. MY cape and toy crown.

My name is Tobio Kageyama and I just got left behind by the only friend (I think) I have. Toru Oikawa. I just turned 9 years old since my birthday is on December.

Toru-Chan left me all alone. My room is a mess because of him. And I can't do nothing about it. It kinda feels like I am being taken advantage of but I can't do anything about it. I'm used to it.

It's been like this ever since I was 4. Toru-Chan was the only friend I've ever had. But I'm also scared of him. People like him better than me.

He had always been my role model. I mean, I don't think I have anyone else to look up to....

I sigh as I clean up.

My mother walks in on me.

"Tobio- WHOAH what happened here!!??"

"Ah-"

"No let me guess, Toru did it?"

I nodded.

She sighs, "Well I would help you but your father asked me to go fetch the Castle's blueprints for the new rooms he's planning to make. You know how much he loves Gambling!"

"Do you want me to send a maid over to help-"

"No mom it's okay, I can do it."

"Well, if you say so. I'll be heading over now."

"Okay"

And just like that, she left. It's okay though, she was busy. I'm glad I don't have siblings or else this room would've been even much more of a mess. I don't really like having things all over my room.
Toru-Chan seems to think otherwise. He always throws everything around. The other day, he was about to break a Music Box my mother gifted me for my birthday, The most precious thing to me at the moment.

It's been a while since Toru-Chan came back to destroy my room again. I bet he and Iwaizumi are messing with me. No, Iwaizumi wouldn't do that, only Toru-Chan.

They are both older so they sometimes like to mess with me. The other time they were both here
Toru-Chan poured water on me as I was walking outside around the fountain. He went to get Iwaizumi and forced him to join in the fun. There was a maid walking towards the kitchen with flour and Iwaizumi accidentally fell because Toru-Chan pushed him towards her. As she tried to catch him she let go of the flour making it fall all on me. I was soaking wet plus flour falling on me making me a baker's mess. The maid kept apologizing to me and called over more maids to help me get cleaned up. Toru-Chan was being lectured by Iwaizumi of how he shouldn't do that and all He said was
"Iwaaaaa-Channnnnn" like always.

I finally finish cleaning my room and just go to my balcony. I sigh as I stare out on the village. There was something about that little house that always intrigued me. Maybe the color? No. Maybe the structure? Who knows.
