(Quinn's POV)
I walked into the bathroom and saw Jane fixing her hair.
"Hi. It's Jane right? I've always loved that name. Jane!" I said smiling
"That's cool" Jane said before she started leaving
"Don't go!" I said and she stopped with a scared look "I guess I was just kind of hoping to make a friend" I said softly "You probably have all the friends you need huh?" I said
"Hardly" she said sadly
"Really? With your mom being Fairy godmother and Headmistress? I mean not to mention your own..... personality" I said
"I'd rather be pretty. You have great hair!" She said and i looked at my hair and then got an idea.
"I have just the thing for that" I said grabbing my spell book out of my bag and flipping through the pages "Here it is! Beware foreswear replace the old with brand new hair!" I said as red mist came and Janes hair changed from the bob to long and wavy. She turned away looking at herself in the mirror before turning back to me.
"Do my nose" she said pointing to my spell book.
"Oh I can't, I've been practicing but I can't really do big magic yet" I said and she looked kinda sad "Not like your mom with her wand. I mean one swoosh from that thing and you could probably have any features you want" I said
"She doesn't use the wand anymore. She believes that the real magic is in the books, and not the spell books, real books with history and stuff in it" she said sadly
"What a rip..." I said leaning on the counter
"Yeah..." she said sadly
"I mean she used magic on Cinderella who wasn't even her real daughter, doesn't she love you?" I asked
"I mean of course she does its just work on the inside not the outside that sort of stuff" She said looking down
"That's the face!" I said and she looked at me "Yeah and you just look at her as if your heart is about to break. Oh mother I just don't know why you won't make me beautiful too" I said acting out what she should do before looking back to her.
"You think that would work?" she said with hope
"Yeah I mean thats what old Cindy did right? And your mom bibbidi bobbidi booed the living daylights out of her" I said leaning on the counter again "And hey if your mom does decide to you know pull out the old wand....invite me!" I said
"If I can convive mom you're so there!" she said
"Yay!" I said slightly clapping
"Bye" She said leaving
"Bye" I waved
I turned to the mirror fixing my hair before leaving.
