The new plan

(Quinn's POV)
I sat on Evie's bed as me and Mal flipped through our spell books. Evie sat at her desk doing Chads homework with her magic mirror and Carlos sat with his new dog at the edge of Evie's bed.
The door swung open to reveal Jay wearing a tourney jersey.
"Yo yo yo!" He said posing
"Hey!" Carlos said impressed
"Did your plan work with Jane? You going over to see the wand" Jay asked me
"Do you think I would be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out" I said angrily flipping through the pages faster
"Someone's in a bad mood" Carlos said
"My moms counting on me and I can't let her down" I said flicking the back of Carlos's head
"We can do this....if we stick together" Jay said and I just stared in confusion. He was never like this his dad always taught him 'there's no Team in I'.
"And we won't go back until we do" Mal chimed in
"Cause we're rotten" I said
"To the core" the others said
"Oh yeah I found out the Fairy godmother blesses Ben with her wand at the coronation and we all get to go" Evie said and we looked up at her "I have nothing to wear of course" she said before noticing all of us staring "what?" As she said that we all heard a knock
"Hold that thought" Mal said getting up and answering
"Hey Mal. I didn't see you guys today and I was just wondering if there was anything that you guys needed" I heard Ben say and I got up
"Not that I know of" Mal said
"Ok well if there's anything that you need feel free to" Ben started
"Wait!" I said standing next to Mal "is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" I asked
"Yeah the whole school goes" Ben replied smiling at me
"That is beyond exciting. Do you think the five of us could sit in the front row next to Fairy godmother so we could just soak up all that goodness?" I asked
"I wish you could. But up front it's just me, my folks and my girlfriend" Ben frowned and I got and idea
"And your girlfriend?" I said
"Yeah sorry" he said
"Okay thanks bye!" I said closing the door in his face before turning to the others "I think it's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend.....and I need a love spell" I said as Jay grabbed my spell book tossing it to me and I smirked.
