Y/N POV
If you're wondering whether or not I'm alive from earlier... Yes I am alive. Luckily levi didn't miraculously gained wings and chased me till my death.
A few more hours till the next expedition. I just need to get some errands done and I can go to sleep.
I knocked on erwins office door and no one answered, he must be with the commander then...
I opened it and put the papers on his desk. Did a little dusting for about 10 minutes and was going to leave.
Right after I got done Cleaning, squad leader erwin comes in.
"y/n, did you get them papers?" he asked
"yes sir, its on your desk and I did a little dusting around here." I replied.
"thank you. How are the three?" he asked again.
"I pretty sure theyre fine. I check up on them every once in a while." I answered.
"okay. Is everything all set for tomorrow? Gasses? Saddles?"
"yes sir, flagon squad filled the gass tanks just this noon. And saddles were ready since yesterday." I answered.
"are you not worried, sir?"
"for what? I've been doing this for years, all I can think of right now is to retrieve victory when we get home." he answered and sat on his desk.
"yes but, what I mean is about levi and the the other two. Didn't you say they were planning on killing you or something?"
"you don't have to worry about that. I've got that under control. Now, you should head back to your room. I can take it from here." he said.
"yes, sir!" and left.
While I was heading to my room, i hear voices from above.
From a girl. Sounds like isabel, it is isabel. I could barely hear their conversation but I heard a "yay!" from isabel.
And went to the side and hid behind a pillar to see what they're doing. The three are sitting on the balcony. Isabel and farlan was clearly giggling.
And I see levi... Smiling?
WHAT?!
HE SMILES!?
The three of them are now looking at the stars. It is a beautiful night.
Damn I wasn't expecting seeing levi smile could surprise me this much. I mean he barely shows any emotion. Except for bieng rude and judgy.
Would be a rude move if I told them to go to bed right?
Yeah It would. I'll give them this. Besides, we won't know if this is their last day of bieng togther. No one does.
And so I started walking. Going up the stairs and headed to my room. Opened the door and i see petra sitting in her bed.
"you still feel sick?" I asked, I sat on my chair and started removing my boots.
"I'm good." she said, and zoned out.
"another expedition tomorrow huh?" she said.
"yeah... Did you visit your dad today? I heard you went out for a little bit?" I said and got my gear off finally.
"yeah, I went to visit my house. You'll never know... You? Did you visit your little sister?" she asked.
"I couldn't. So I just sent her a message. Hope it gets to her soon." I replied and stared at my window.
