Sudden Disapearences

"reporting live from Inkopolis, over 50 inklings have gone missing this week!" "That's right, most witnesses have last seen them while playing turf wars, after the turf war ended at least one or two of the players would be missing without a trace!" Penny sighed and shut the TV off, this is all that's being talked about on the news since the week even started, it bothered Penny at the fact that every day there was at least 2-10 inklings going missing in a day, "damn..one day Inkopolis will be empty if those idiots don't stop going to turf wars..oh why do I even care? If nobody is gonna find them, I will!" Penny says furiously as she stormed out of her house, she first decided to head to TJ's house since he's most likely going to accept wanting to do this

"Tj. It's me, Penny, open the door or-" "jeez! I can't afford paying for another door because of you!" Tj said flinging the door open "whaddya want?" "Wanna go save some inklings?" Tj smiled "hell yeah! If nobody else will, then it's up to us!" "Sweet. We should get the others, they'll probably be a bunch of help" "5 heads is better than 2!" Tj said as he sped out of his house, Penny chuckled as she was catching up to him "Rouge? You home?" No response "Rouge, open the door" still no response "hey Rouge, I'm gonna make an unfunny joke you hate!" The door swung open "is that so?" "!!! Jeez! Almost gave me a heart attack.." "I'll do that with a notebook next time.." Rouge looked at Penny "what do you want?" "I was uh..going to ask if you wanted to save some inkli-" "I have dreams of saving fictional characters, so yes." Rouge said as she pushed Penny aside walking away "I'm assuming we're going to get the others, you two go get Mumu, I'll get Baylee" Penny and Tj looked at each other for a minute "what's her problem?" "I dunno, I never bothered asking"

Mumu sat alone in their house, or well, their hideout to be exact, it was dark and quiet, almost eerie even, "hey Mumu!" "It's us, Penny and Tj" Mumu adjusted their scarf, why were Penny and Tj here? They never come over to Mumu's place since Mumu never enjoys company in their home, they slightly open the door so they were barely visible "...yes?" "By any chance do you, like, watch the news?" "...no..." "Well- uhm- inklings have been going missing this week and we were wondering if you wanted to help out?" Mumu stepped out of their hideout slowly as a way of saying yes "you sure? You never go out much.." "...I just..w-wanna be helpful.." Mumu didn't walk off this time, they waited until both Tj and Penny started walking before they moved still in fear that if they went alone they'd get hurt on sight

"Rouge! You're back! And you brought Baylee!" "Would ya look at that, you brought Mumu along!" "Yup! I wouldn't want them to miss out on the fun would I?" Baylee smiled "not at all! It'd be a shame if we went without Mumu" Mumu slightly blushed, never in their life have they heard more kind words such as that, and not once have they felt more included in a group "well, are we ready?" "Hell yeah we are!" "Now then..where are you, inklings?"
