Arriving by car, Shouto Todoroki opened the passenger door for you while helping you out of the vehicle. You had discussed that these lavish things weren't necessary, however, Todoroki wanted to give you a proper prom date experience. After learning of your reunion at UA, and that they were reliving the graduation experience for all the alumni, Todoroki jumped on board to offer the experience that he would've given all those years ago. You wondered if he spoke to his siblings again for more advice.

As soon as the car left, Todoroki took you by the hand, leading you into your old haunting grounds along with him, strolling along the familiar paths of UA. You peered at all the students who still roamed about, whispering at the sight of Todoroki in his white suit, similar to his graduation attire last you recalled. Funny too that after work you found a replica of your graduation outfit in your locker, along with a note from none other than the man who held you by his side.

"You really went all out Shouto," you commented. "Even the kids are gawking."

"Maybe because I have something they don't," he spoke, turning his gaze onto you with a smile.

"Now that's a lie," you retorted playfully.

"Don't sell yourself short, Love."

It was difficult to ignore the stares and all of the phones taking photos of the both of you walking through the pathways. The media prior to the event didn't help either, almost treating the reunion as if it were some gala. News of Midoriya, Pro-Hero Deku, decking the auditorium with the Prom Night theme was all the rage in gossip chains, followed by background checks and stories about other alumni as well, but Todoroki's piece, about the Pro-Hero Shouto, was glamorized all too well.

Academy Sweethearts to attend the Reunion of the Decade, read the title. It was almost a piece exclusively on Todoroki, about his family history, the successes, the tragedies, all of the news surrounding some controversy back in his teenage years, but also how he rose from it all, became the Pro-Hero he strove to be on his own, and how he became the man he was today. Still, it was funny to find a small portion of the article about him and you - two academy sweethearts still going to this day. It outlined so much public knowledge from school missions together, some sightings together outside of work, and to your surprise, even briefly mentioned how the two of you met.

It was a Cinderella story, to most people. You cringed at the mention of being compared to that kind of fairytale.

"Excited to see everyone?" you asked curiously. "I know we briefly talk to a few, but it's going to be weird to meet everyone face-to-face."

"I don't think so," responded Todoroki while he ignored the flashes of phone cameras every now and then. "It'll be like old times again."

"Yeah, except this time I'm here with you," you motioned while you lightly tugged at his arm. "Graduation almost felt like it was yesterday."

Todoroki peered at your expression, watching the sad smile creep up on your lips while you recalled the first half of that night. You still remembered that overpowering smell of alcohol and the tight grip on your wrist, finding that your date at the time had decided to enjoy some pre-drinks before the graduation. Their volatile actions still shook you a little, even now after years from that night, it was scary to think what could've happened if not for-

"That's the past now," reassured Todoroki while he gently held onto your hand. "You've been by my side ever since, and I couldn't be anymore happier for it. We share the same home, we work together, I'm more surprised we haven't imploded yet."

"Need I remind you, we had tried to have our alone time apart," you brought up matter-factly. "Maybe for a little too long."

You noticed something change in Todoroki's eyes, his calm smile turning into a slight pout and a cross look in his eye. You laughed nervously at the sudden change, aware of the source of his slight irritation.
