24: Promise

It has been several hours, Staying alone in the dark with nothing to entertain yourself with. Boring. The food Jimin had given him, was half way gone. The boy didn't feel like sleeping in the cool basement. There barely was any warmth. Jungkook wanted to break free so badly. He didn't want to continue the game any longer.

 It was wrong of him agreeing to what Jimin had said. All Jungkook wanted was to break free like a bird from its own cage. He stood up from the mattress, walking over to the window. "Is Jim-" he pauses as he sees Jennie by the door. The boy backs away from the window, gets in hiding mode. He didn't want to put himself in trouble. 

Later, from far he gazes at every action she was doing. She was knocking at the door but Jungkook didn't want to open it. Trouble would come if he dared to open it. He stayed far from the window for minutes until the girl left. Relief ran through the younger male's body as he sat down on the cold floor. 

Again he waited for more minutes for Jimin to return. Later that same day, It was getting very late. Jungkook didn't want to wait any more longer just for Jimin. He wanted to be back in the house. Imaging himself on the sofa, drinking some banana milk, while watching a movie or surfing the internet.

 Jungkook didn't have a phone with him either. Jimin took it away from him. Before he could daydream, he could hear the doorknob was tingling. This scared the boy. Jungkook ran to the stairs up, Opening the basement door. He grabbed a broom from the kitchen. He walked closer to the door.

 He opened it "Jungk-" said the voice but was unfortunately cut off by getting their ass kicked by Jungkook. The person was being hit with the broom. "Get the fuck out of here!! Get lost!, Leave bef-" He paused as he saw a familiar face. 

He put the broom down, slowly making his way to back away. Jimin's hair was messy and had fire gushing through him. "JUNGKOOK!" the older scolded "Who the fuck-" Jasmin comes in interrupting Jimin's sentence and smiles "What's going on? I thought I heard-"

"Nope, Everything's okay, Just telling my brother to watch where he was going. I was scared he would get hurt." The girl nods not knowing what actually was going on and enters the house. Jungkook's mouth opens then closes in fury. 'What!? Scared? Since when was he ever caring towards me!??' 

The lover birds held hands walking to Jimin's room, leaving the younger in the living room alone. Jungkook felt like he was punched after witnessing both Jimin and Jasmin together. To him, he felt sadness taking him over again. 'Jimin's happier with her than he would be with me'

Jungkook sat on the couch thinking about how much he missed Jimin's happy side. It gave him lots of memories. Good memories about the times they spend time with each other. Even when Jimin was sick, Jungkook would come to him and act like his maid. Cleaning his room, doing chores for him or feeding him. 

Jungkook would also daydream about that time where both him and his brother went to the playground. They acted like 5 year olds but they didn't care weather people were having thoughts of them. "I just want Jimin to be happy but will he ever stop this pain?" Jungkook questioned as he facepalmed himself. 

///  Flashback ///

"Jungkook? Jungkook where are you, you little sneaky bunny?" the blonde boy said as he was looking behind the rock wall. "Kookie? Where could that kid be hiding?" he said to himself as he left to another area. Jimin walked over to the swings and crouched down to see if he spot Jungkook anywhere around the swings.

 He stood there about a minute then walked away. Kids were screaming, or if not they were crying. Parents watched their kids go. And for most part some kids went to get ice cream by an ice creams stand that stood by the road. Jimin walked over to the playground itself and heard giggling.
