42: His Past Friend

"We can't let him know about this. He'll blow if he hears us back talking about his dumbass girlfriend." The older says as he and Jungkook walk away from Jimin's bedroom. The younger listens as Kai continues "Like Jimin doesn't see how Jasmin actually behaves, Like really? Do you really think she'll spill her true colors?"

They take a seat at the lounge room as they make it "I don't think that will ever happen, Like if she wants to make Jimin look like her fool. She will do it." Responds the younger. Then realising Jimin, as soon as he appeared in front of both him and Kai. It made him had second thoughts about his behavior. Jimin behaving like nothing happened in between both brothers. "Something wrong?" Kai asked as he noticed the sudden change in the younger's mood. Jungkook stayed quiet for a little while until he heavily sighs, releasing his breath. He wished he could also had released the bad memories like how he did with his breath.  "Hyung, My mind is telling me that what Jimin is doing is all fake."

Kai tilts his head in confusion, as if he didn't understand a thing Jungkook had said. "What do you mean?"

"His actions and words. They are all fake, Even if he doesn't want to admit that. It's true." Jungkook speaks as he glances down at the floor. Kai felt shock as he heard Jungkook mention such things about Jimin. The older furrows his brows after a few seconds of silence "But why?"

"Hyung you don't understand about the thing between us. Don't you?" Jungkook raises his brow, Turning his gaze at Kai. The older bites his bottom lip "What did Jimin do? I don't see anything wrong with him" he replies, trying to explain from his prospective. However, the question made Kai think less than he should. He was clueless about Jimin's current personality. Even with the happy-caring side of Jimin. 

The older asked the younger about the situation he was trying to explain to him. Because Kai didn't understand neither of it, He wanted to make sure he was on the same boat as Jungkook. Especially since he was that type of guy that wanted to do his best to understand others. So Jungkook began it with no hesitation, giving out all the details he could. He explain in detail about Jimin acting all caring with a rainbow in the air. And how he found it wrong. 

"Like really, How can he go from wrath to now love? That is what I want you to understand." This time Jungkook said it calmly with no grudges in his words nor in his blood. "Now I see your point. Since when did he began to act this way?"

"Since that day he was discharged from the hospital."

"To me, He seems drunk. Don't you think?" suggested Kai. As Jungkook heard this he chuckled a little "Really? How?" The older adjusts his sweater by its sides. "Well I'm not sure if I had mentioned this to you but I did talk to him about your relationship as brothers. I told him many things that he should reflect upon his behavior towards you..Everything." The younger's eyes widen as he listened to Kai. 'Since when did he spoke to him about me? '

"I told him to think about everything he's done." By the time Kai had stopped, Jungkook felt like crying. All of this changed Jimin. On how he views him now. "How could he automatically switch his opinion about me after what he's done? I mean I'm not saying it's bad, What I don't understand is.." He pauses, feeling his eyes becoming glossy "Is he faking all of that emotion about me?" Kai raises a brow "What do you mean?"

"Is he forcing himself to change just so I can accept him?!"

 This time Jungkook felt the tears gushing out from his eyes, The older didn't like this view of what he got. Instead he ran over to the younger to clean out his tears. "Please don't cry. I'm sure he's doing it for the one he loves. You know?" The older begins to pat Jungkook's shoulder gently, as if he reassuring him. "Sometimes people we love change their ways for the people they love"
