4. Under the mask

YOU'RE POV

surprisingly didn't run it any mask we were following the girls for a while and they were making their way to a roof with some man in a zookeeper looking outfit I was sitting down on my phone going through it "Hey Mr.Mask it looks to me like they're all leaving" kuon said "Well yeah I'm in no hurry to tail them we know where they're going" he said as he exhaled the smoke from his cigarette "Ok but still" she said as she turned around "hey girl I curious do you have the ability to manipulate a mask?" He asked kuon I turn my head towards them

"Well uh, I'm not sure I don't know anything about what's going on, "kuon said fully turning around "Alright well if that's the case I don't see the point in use staying together any longer" kuon was surprised at what he had said she started to cry or something "what, what is it?" He asked the girl "ok 1...2...3 go she pointed left" I turned my head and went back on my phone playing a random game Sniper just turned his head kuon crouched down and started to cry"

we were watching the fight go on I zoned out a bit I snapped out of my haze when I saw that tower light up and hit a building the wind was very strong I tried to hold down my skirt but it kept blowing "God, when I got dressed in this outfit I didn't think I'd be here I should've just wore some sweats" as I thought that I fell on my ass from the pressure of the wind after I fell the wind stopped

I heard a small snicker come from the sniper mask I took my rifle off my back and glided it under his foot making him lose his balance and falling I started to laugh my ass off "M-Mr. Mask a-are you al-alright" kuon asked while having a heavy blush on her face I chuckled at the site

I felt a tap on the shoulder it was sniper I looked at him and he pointed to my skirt and turned his head because of the wind and me falling my skirt had lifted almost revealing my underwear I quickly pulled down my skirt completely flushed with embarrassment "Why couldn't I have been in a bad mood when I picked this outfit " I quietly mumbled to myself

"Huh what was that y/n?" Sniper mask asked "don't worry about it its none of you're business," I say crossing my arms "I was just asking welp it looks like the mask made it right on time," he said out loud I turn my head to see a mask but this one is different it has an emotionless mask it comes closer and drops the bag

The mask walks away sniper walks up to the bag and gets some food out he sits down and was about to take off his mask but kuon stopped him "No I can't see your face remember" she said blushing a deep shade of red "Uhm ok but can you back up a bit you're to close" he said it plainly but politely "ok then we will all face the other way" she said as she turned around

Sniper got up and walked a little farther away and sat down he took off his mask and placed it down I couldn't help it I was too curious does a hot voice come with a hot face there is only one way to find out I walk over to him I was standing above him his head was down and he was eating "It's weird for you to watch someone eat" he said as he stopped eating he then looked up I was shocked

He quickly puts his head back down and his ears went red "I'm sorry" was all he said it took me a second but then I realized he saw up my skirt again I scolded myself about the outfit well if I died I'm look hella good, I leaned over and he leans back but comes forward when he calms himself I raise my hand to touch the scar on his cheek under his eye but he stops me by grabbing my wrist but not too hard to hurt me

"Look but don't touch," he said calmly those four words made me a bit shocked I sat down in front of him he still was holding onto my wrist "let go." I said a bit sternly "Miss, L/N M-Mr. Mask is everything ok" kuon asked with a slight worry in her voice "everything is alright we are just eating" he says as he lets go of my wrist "hey you how long do you plan on standing there" I turn my head to see another emotionless mask

"If the ones closer to God become a perfect got everything will go well," the mask said "perfect God??"I thought to myself "if god desires peace will prevail if god desires chaos will succeed there can only be one perfect God if you are aiming to become perfect God then good luck to you" I eat all my food kuon stands up and takes an oath to become a perfect God for Sniper and to end this world turn and see sniper mask standing up and putting on his mask"you a god that's a concerning thought but I guess it's a step forward for now" he said as he put his hat on kuon then whispered something , we started trailing the girls again we were about to approach Them but we heard gunshots

SNIPER MASK POV

When we were right behind the girls we hear gunshots going off "kuon stay outside y/n watch her" I went inside and saw that they needed help so I shot the mask that they were fighting one of the girls quickly turn around and starts to shoot at me "Damnit I was hoping to talk to them" the girls ran off then I hear guy shots going off outside I run outside to see y/n taking a gun and some ammo away from a dead mask

she turns around"Sniper how did it go?" Kuon turns around and hugs me I try slightly push her off but she won't let go "Mr. Mask a mask tried to kill me," she said in a muffled voice since her face was in my chest "hey Mr- I mean Sniper I thought mask couldn't kill the ones closer to god?" I was slightly confused on why she changed the fact that she was gonna call me Mr, Mask "how should I know why they attacked you" I shrugged my shoulders

Hey everyone I was supposed to post this chapter yesterday but I low-key forgot chapter 5 will be posted today or tomorrow depending on how fast I can write it well hope you are enjoying the story so far
