Your world started reeling. It couldn't be (Y/F/N), you had been friends with her forever. She never would have started doing drugs, not unless she had been tricked. You turned and started to leave but Matt grabbed your arm. Nobody really noticed what was going on but him. You just stood there in disbelief. Why? Why did it have to be (Y/F/N)? She was one of the best people you knew. Your killer had just made things personal.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" Derek asked.

"I'm fine, I've just gotta bring Matt home." You lied.

"Alright, make sure you come back to help out with the case." Dereck ordered, softly but firmly.

"I will." You replied.

You brought Matt to your house instead. If the victims had a connection between the two of you he should stay at your house. You glanced at him and saw he was drifting off into sleep. You smiled, Matt hadn't changed a bit. You looked back towards the road and thought of something. You got wide eyed and shook Matt.

"What?" Matt asked.

"When was the last time you had access to any of my stories?" You replied.

"Since you e-mailed to me five years ago. Why?" Matt responded.

"Do you know if anybody's hacked your computer?" You said.

"No, but I think it has a virus. Three, maybe four weeks ago my hard drive was nearly wiped clean because something made my computer crash."

"Did you lose the stories?"

"Yeah, I don't see how this pertains to anything though."

"You wouldn't, but I do."

"Does this mean we're going back to town?" Matt groaned.

"Yep, Hotch or one of the others may want to question you." You replied, taking a sharp U-turn.

"Your driving habits haven't changed a bit." Matt commented.

"Neither have your passenger habits." You countered.

You turned your eyes back on the road and cotinued driving back to the police department. You kind of just wanted to go home and sleep, but you knew you had to persevere through the rest of the day. Not to mention this guy had killed your best friend of 9 years. You wanted to break your killer in interrogation, you wanted to steal his soul. Your phone started ringing. You pulled it out to see who was calling you. It was Prentiss.

"Hey Prentiss." You said.

"Hey (Y/L/N), we need you back here ASAP. We also need you to bring Matthew with you so we can question him." Prentiss replied.

"Alright." You responded and hung up.

Before long you arrived at the police department with Matt. You woke him up and the two of you walked in. You lead Matt tothe back and left him with Hotch. You figured Hotch would want to interrogate him. You went searching for Reid you found him reading one of your stories. He was deeply immersed in reading and he jumped when you put your hand on his shoulder.

"Hey (Y/N), I was just reading this storie it has a great story line. A little to much dialect but other than that it's really good." Reid said.

"Thanks, I've always had an issue with detail and dialect." You replied. "Which one is it?"

"This is yours?" Reid asked.

"Yeah, Matt's computer was hacked and he never got rid of my stories." You answered.

"You do realize this makes you a suspect right?"

"Yeah, except our killer is a man, that's in his twenties or thirties."

"How do you already know that?"

"I noticed the size and heaviness of the killers foot prints at the crime scence. There were also marks on the victims that mainly men do."

"How tall is our killer?"

"He is six foot three inches, he weighs 150 pounds approximately, he's an alpha male, and fits in with the popular and rich crowd, but he's also a chamelion."

"You got all of that from marks on our victims and footprints you noticed at the crime scene?" Reid asked. shocked.

"Yep." You answered.

"Then explain to me why each crime scene has your stories there." Reis replied.

"I can't tell you that yet but let me look in them." You said, sitting down nex to Reid.

Reid passed you the first set of your stories found at the crime scenes. You leafed through them and immediately noticed a number of differences. You couldn't exactly remember your story but you knew your stories were not as derranged as these revised stories you were reading.

"Reid, do you have a computer here?" You asked quietly.

"Yeah, do need to use it?" Reid responded.

"Yeah, I'll need to use it to hack into my computer though." You said.

"Why?"

"These are not my stories, the killer has made changes to it, and has completely changed all of the characters except for the main character and her mother."

"The killer must've snapped while reading your stories and they're not even published. How did he get the stories?"

"I sent them to Matt and someone hacked into his computer."

"What did the unsub change in the characters?"

"Their personality. All of my characters had differing personalities, but the unsub rewrote them all to reflect either the main character or her mother."

"Okay, now tell me about (Y/F/N)."

"I was wondering when that would come up. Lets see," I paused. "I haven't spoken too her that much since we graduated, but she did call me just recently. She was worried she was being followed. She also mentioned that she was having unusual blackouts. I told her I would take her to the hospital fpr a drug test. We were supposed to go yesterday but I we got caught up in seperate things."

"Why didn't you tell us earlier?" Reid questioned.

"To be perfectly honest, I forgot about it this morning." You answered, "If you don't believe me you can always give me a polygraph test."

"No I believe you, but since your friend was just murdered you might be too close to the case now."

"I don't let my emotions rule my decisions." You answered shortly. "Madi may have been killed, but I won't let that change how I work."

"I just want you to take it easy. Out of all the people here you seem to be the most fragile."

"Trust me Reid, I am anything but fragile."
