YOU HAVE ENTERED JANE NEWCASTLE'S MIND

[SELECT YOUR MEMORY]

It was what was written above C's head as it entered Jane's dimension.

"Let's see what do we have here" said C as it looked at her memories as if they were songs in a playlist. It was reading the memories short titles, when it suddenly stopped at one that caught its eye.

"Humm... The fourth hour?... sounds promising!" it said shining bright.

DAY: 15th September

TIME: 07:00AM

"Ooohh... she's waking up! It's starting!" commented C.

The image was getting less blurry as Jane got up and started her daily routine.

"Almost forgot it!!!" thought C as it suddenly shout "NOTEBOOK!!!"

And as if it were nothing, smoothly a turquoise hardcover book appeared. The place, where C was, was nothing more nothing less than inside Jane's memory bubble.

It's said that a person's memory bubble resembles a thin glass sphere which shows one's memories in a 360 degrees perspective and at the bottom there's a comfortable pillow where the spectator can sit and enjoy the action.

Meanwhile, C opened the notebook in its lap. "Let's see what has been on her mind lately" it said browsing the pages"

"Oofff... she spent 1 hour yesterday choosing her outfit for today!?!? What a waste of time!!!" it moaned

"Humm... she's starting a new job today! I guess it lines up. She's trying to give a nice first impression... Smart girl!" thought C as it kept reading the notebook.

By the time, Jane was leaving home to go to work, C had already made a memo about everything single event it needed to know about her day.

"If only she knew what her day will be like..." reflected C.

Jane had arrived at Clement's. The coffee shop she would start working at. It was a beautiful building that resembled the vintage café's in Paris. A flower vase per table and the most unique soft blue mugs decorated with two white kitten paw marks. These made the place known for being one of a kind.

When she entered the place, she immediately saw his new co-worker. He was a tall man, with a welcoming smile and a unmistakable ginger hair.

As he walked in her direction, the speaker on the top of the bubble reproduced Jane's thoughts:

"I hope he's friendly! And... oohhh... his hair looks sooo fluffy!!! I want to pet it!... But now focus!!! IT'S YOUR FIRST DAY!" heard C.

Then it paused the memory and zoomed in the man's hair.

"Now I see it too... she's got a point! Now I want to pet him too!!! It definitely looks soft and fluffy!!!" said C as it tried to touched it but fail to feel anything but the bubble.

"After all... it is only a memory" said C a bit disappointed as it resumed the memory.

"Are you Jane NewCastle?" he asked.

"Yes, I am." Jane replied

"Nice to meet you! I'm Frederick Campbell but everyone calls me Fred. Feel free to do so." he kindly said as he extended his hand.

Jane corresponded and they shook hands.

"Nice to meet you too, Fred!" she smiled

"He seems like a nice guy" echoed inside the bubble.

"Follow me, I'll be giving you a quick tour" announced Fred

He explained everything Jane needed to know such as how to use the expresso machines, where was the employees break room and other important matters.

"He's very dedicated to his job and extremely considerate of his co-workers" thought C.

And right after, it restarted reading the notebook again. And it came to the following conclusion:

The main event in this fragment of Jane's memory was her first encounter with Fred.
Since it had already happened, it could unlock the second part of the memory.

In order to do so, it carefully searched in the notebook every information related to Fred.

What C discorved about Fred was that:

- he was the same age as Jane, 22 years old;

- he was tall, probably about 175cm;

- he had ginger curly hair;

- his smile always showed his emotions;

- his friend, Charles, was a regular costumer;

- Jane considered him the most thoughtful person she had ever met;

C found about these by reading through the next three months. What made C suddenly interested in December.
