- Ha ha ha ha! - he laughed maniacally into the endless space. Furthermore, he teared up with a big frown while hitting sturdy walls. It made him groan in slight pain. - Shit... - he mumbled swearing.

His performance of madness continued on the empty train station. How many days passed since he last saw any familiar face? This loneliness was driving him insane, year by year. Or so he counted. Recently, his mind had been occupied with a certain image from his most recent memory.

It felt like a brief moment when he last took a glance at you. Although that was also the very first time you two met. You appeared before him when he was just about to die. But in truth, he never actually died.

His current body and mind were stuck in limbo. But the other part of him, which was pure and kind, his soul, floated on the Earth around you. Just because he received some images and feelings from his ghost counterpart a moment ago, his mood lifted. You became familiar with his ghost. Friends, even. Despite the fact he had a few minutes of your presence put in his core memory, he had already his personal opinion of you.

You became his way to restore peace - you felt cosy, warm and human, he'd say. Whenever he was thinking about you, you carried the role of his best friend, as well as his partner. The friendly ghost didn't know he could start all of this obsession. Unknown to Ghostbur he was a tool of communication for his previous owner, he never stopped spending time with you.

When the time came for Revivebur to return, it was very weird for you to adjust to this particular personality. It was like you've met this man first time in your life and he insisted on being your friend. In addition, you thought of him as a stinky freak that couldn't leave you alone. Creep or stalker, whatever you call this.

- Why do you follow me everywhere? - you asked directly the stranger who stood in front of you with a light smile on his very smelly and dirty face.

- Oh, no, darling, it's a mere coincidence! Although if you seriously want to think this way, I'd say I'm your number one fan who fell madly in love with you. - he replied towering over you.

You glanced at his face thinking it was suspicious. It was challenging to say whether you've ever heard that. However, his humour felt somewhat familiar to you. You couldn't tell why though, it was baffling.

- I'm not sure, have we met yet? - The question popped into your head out of politeness rather than concern.

He crossed his arms and looked away. But this answer didn't give you any hints to finding the answer. It made you believe that it has to be the first time you see this man.

- Oh well. Let me introduce myself properly. My name's Y/N and I hang around these lands from time to time. I was invited by my friend, Quackity from Las Nevadas.

You shook his hand as a greeting. Suddenly, his eyes went completely blank for a moment. There's a possibility a lot of different thoughts crossed his head when he heard his enemy's name. But at that moment, Wilbur and Quackity haven't met yet. And most importantly, you didn't know both of them would be the death of you soon.

- Wilbur, at your service. - He accepted your greeting enthusiastically. For you though, it was as if you were touching a dead body, so you tried to wipe your hands from behind. - Tell me, Y/N, are you familiar with the story of L'manberg?

You stopped in your tracks for a moment. You see, he met you on your hike. You were pretty sure he knew he was interrupting your moment of peace. As a response, your eyes slid to the blue sky over your heads reliving a few things from your memory. Then, you continued walking, as if nothing happened.

- Yes, I am.

Your buddy noticed your eyes shifting though. For him, it was quite interesting how you received his message. Fascinating, even. How can you ignore what happened and just go on?

- Are you afraid of me, Y/N? - he asked out of pure curiosity.

You looked back to meet with his concerned look. Even though his mouth was smiling, his eyes seemed tired. Maybe that was the time when you saw his true feelings for the first time. Moreover, you wanted to believe he was a good person or that he was broken, so only you could fix him.

He tossed his hands behind his back and locked them, adding some strength to his grip on the wrists. People do that when they feel insecure, mostly. You've interpreted this as if he lied, so you frowned in disgust. Angry at his lowkey arrogant attitude, you snarked at him.

- Why would I be afraid of some dead man? - you rolled your eyes feeling a little brave.

The wind was strong at the moment. It made his hair flow, in a somewhat attractive way. You think it wasn't very comforting to lock eyes with a bad-smelling man. Especially when he didn't like this nickname you got him, which you could tell from his expression.

And so he looked at your facial expressions amazed at how could you not have any strong feelings for him. Revivebur couldn't tell whether you despised him or if you just didn't care much. Furthermore, he couldn't quite figure out which side of the conflict you wanted to stay on. On the other hand, it would be beneficial for him to have you on his side. For his mental state and authority.

- I burned my nation to the ground, baby! - he admitted with a joking manner, feeling quite proud.

You giggled softly at how he kept addressing you, aware of the fact this man couldn't stop sweet-talking with you.

- I'm a dangerous man! - He chuckled and fastened his peace to look into your smiling eyes again. It made you two stop, leaving only a small distance between you two.

- You look like the last person to fight in a war, personally. - You crossed your arms and raised an eyebrow in real doubt to his words. A bit cocky, weren't you?

- For you? - he looked you up and down with an intense glare. You could feel how his breath hastened for a moment. In a way, that small detail made him a bit more attractive. Before it was the way his hair danced in the air, now it was the way he caught a breath. - I would fight for you, darling.

Like a rollercoaster of emotions. Your grip on the diamond tools you owned tightened when his eyes didn't seem to be looking away any time soon from yours. Yu thought to yourself it was a good time to run away from this very charming, yet dangerous, man.

- What? No, no, no, haha, I meant my opinion, big boy! - you tried to brush it off but your face turned red from embarrassment, which made him smirk. - It was nice meeting you, Wilbur!

And so he was left alone with one hand waving in the air, telling you sweet goodbyes. Your personality was far off of what he had previously imagined. In spite of that thought, it didn't really matter because you felt as warm as fourty years ago. Of course, it would take some time to get you on his side as his friend. But perhaps there's a chance you two could be more then that.

The only thing that would stop him could be the fact that you're yet to change your side, whose was with your friend from Las Nevadas.

- I enjoyed our talk, sweet Y/N! - you heard him yell after a big while.

This man will be the death of you if he flirts with you once more. Although, it begin to look like it was his habit. On the other side, maybe his face isn't so ugly and maybe you hope to see him again? But why does his voice remind you of your ghost-friend? Ghostbur was the kindest friend you've ever made here. It was very hard to believe such an angelic creature would turn into Wilbur.

Well, you don't think of him as a monster. But he isn't your friend either.

And you weren't his partner yet.
