You pushed him away.

- You wish. Even if I was, it'd of been stupid. - You turned your back to him.

The man started walking behind you slowly while giving you some personal space at least, with such a cocky smile plastered on his face.

- Did I do something wrong? Baby, I can change! Don't push me away before I confess my feelings at least!

You laughed quietly at how he phrased it. Of course, he didn't mean it. You two have known each other for far too little time to want anything seriously. And it's not like you wanted something brief. Oh well, not with the enemy, of course.

- Goodbye, Wilbur! - You waved your hand in the air.

You left him alone, stunned and confused. It wasn't a fun meeting for him. It was like you ran away from him as if you were scared. But you never were. In fourteen years of sitting inside his limbo, you never ran away. To be honest, you were the one insisting on staying with him until the very end.

He frowned not pleased by your sudden change. Although you never did, it was just his imagination. And it's such a fucking problem to stick with one version of a person in their head. So he wanted to change that.

The next time you met was when you got lost while getting back to Las Nevadas. You swear you knew all the tracks, but someone planted this fucking birch forest and now you're clueless! Kicking nearby plants, you heard a familiar man's laugh.

- Hello? - you called someone alerted.

Then you saw Revivebur with flowers in his hand. He was making a flower crown and his creation looked stunning. You became quite impressed by this unusual skill.

- Hello, love. You appear to be in distress.

You crossed your arms.

- I'm not your damsel in distress, old man.

He shrugged. You saw him walking up to you and offering you his sculpture of colourful plants.

- I know, I know, Y/N. Would you accept such a pretty gift? I think it'd suit you very much, love.

- Why- Oh, well, alright.

You took the flower crown out of his hands. While you did that, you could feel his warm hands touching yours. It reminded you of the time when they prevented you from falling miserably to your embarrassment. It felt like yesterday.

Looking at the thing in your hands made you smile a bit. It was such an innocent thing to do and you wouldn't think your so-called enemy would make that. Or give it to you, by all means.

- Does that make me a queen of the forest? - you asked jokingly putting the flower crown on your head sloppily.

He chuckled fixing it in one fast hand movement. Your eyes lift up observing his handsome smile while his eyes were fixated on the flower crown.

- The queen of something else, that's for sure.

You didn't think much of it. He obviously meant the flowers, did he?

But in his mind, he was surprised by your sudden appearance here, near his new home. He came here to clear his thoughts, as always, a lot of them were cruel plans. It was like a silly quirk to do something with his hands while he was lost in thought. And then you appeared, like with a God's miracle. To calm his heart a bit.

- Your smile is outstanding. I've never seen it this way. - he admitted with a goofy smile you begin to admire.

-Why? Like you wanna kiss me so bad you glance at my lips? - you snarked getting a bit more comfortable than usual. Maybe because you've started to like him.

He busted with laughter. You swear you've seen him getting all red in his ears.

- I know I'm pretty handsome and attract a lot of freaks like you. It's like a curse of being a walking beauty - you continued playing a funny little act.

He was still laughing without giving you any answer. You enjoyed his amusement of you. It made you want to dance. The weather was also very nice...

So you danced. It wasn't very professional from you. But you had fun and that mattered. No one's opinion other than yours mattered.

Suddenly you heard him singing, joining your rhythm. You opened your eyes to see him moving his mouth, hands, elbows, hips and smiling like he's eaten a banana. It made you laugh loudly as if you two were the only people in the world.

- I didn't know you can sing!

- I didn't know you had such good moves either, baby!

You giggled as he continued to sing. His comment made you a little shy so you slowed down.

It was quite the performance for Slime who was standing there all the time.

- Wow, are you guys friends? - he asked innocently.

It made you both jump away from each other scared off like hell reaching your feet.

- Slimeccle?! What the fuck?! Wha- Why didn't you say you were there? - you asked rapidly trying to regain your cool.

For a second you remembered how ridiculous you looked right now with flowers on your hair so you took it off and tossed it into the ground. It made Revivebur look at you with a sad expression after you left with your friend to try to keep the meeting secret.

He kneeled to the grass level to take away the crown you were wearing. This time it was real. This memory was his, not his ghost counterpart. It felt like he won something and it made him think of you as a trophy...

- Slime! Promise me you won't tell Quackity about this. - you tried to convince him as he was walking back with you to the base.

It was quite stressful for you right now. I mean, what if he found out you were almost making out with his rival? Man, like you're not particularly on anybody's side but you wanted to be his real friend. It felt like backstabbing.

- About what?

- Good. Don't tell him.

- Tell what? That you were dancing to Wilbur's singing?

You breathed in a bit too much air and it made you pale on your face.

- Y-yeah! Please, Slime...

- I won't tell Quackity!

He said that with such a confident smile. It was very hard to take him seriously.

- Anybody! Don't tell anyone!

- I'm good at keeping secrets, Y/N!

It was debatable whether he was.

- Yeah, I know you are. You're my friend.

His eyes lit up and you could see literal sparkles behind his glasses.

- I'm your friend!

You giggled while playing with his slimy hair.
