Deku's voice: The name of the Island I that I was brought to was... Lian Yu, it's Mandarin, for purgatory. For ten months I had to forge myself into something else, I had to become someone else. Although this island held many dangers, I had to make myself more than I was. I am returning not the quirkless boy who was saved by an emerald archer but the hero that my city needs. This is the beginning of my hero's journey...

As Izuku's eyes widened at the sight of the large island that laid in front of him Izuku knew that this wasn't the right place. Originally, he thought that he was going to intern at Queen Consolidated for hero work but he was wrong. Turning his attention towards the emerald archer Izuku asked if this was the place only for the hooded figure to nod in approval. "This isn't just an internship, Midoriya. This is where you'll forge yourself into a hero. I was stranded here for five years and look where it has gotten me. Once we arrive, your first lesson is to find your way to basecamp somewhere located on the island." The Green Arrow instructed as the boat docked on the shores of Lian Yu. "This is where you've been stranded? Where are we anyway?" Izuku asked, looking around the rocky beach as Izuku quickly spotted an orange and black mask with an arrow puncturing the eye of the torn mask. "This is Lian Yu, it's Mandarin, for purgatory. This island holds many dangers and when I was stranded here for those five years I had only one goal. Survive, survive and one day return home but during those five years in hell I had to forge myself into a weapon and that is what you're going to do Midoriya. Base camp is located somewhere on this island. The only thing I will provide you is a map, once you get there we'll continue our training. Is that understood?" Asked the Green Arrow, giving Izuku a map of the island. "Wait, aren't you going to come with me? Or at least take me there?" The confused Izuku asked. "You think I'm going to hold your hand the entire way? You're sadly mistaken Midoriya. Do you think I was given a map to survive here? You should consider yourself lucky that you have something to guide you. In order to become a hero, you must rely on yourself and analyze the situation. I'll be waiting for you at basecamp. Do not take all day and for the sake of All Might. Look out for landmines..." The Green Arrow responded as he ran off into the forest leaving Izuku completely alone with only his map and the jar of All Might's hair. "So this is where my journey begins..." Izuku mutters, before taking off into the large forest in front of him.

Hours went by as Izuku was completely lost. All he could see was an endless area of trees, unable to comprehend the density of the large forest. "How can someone survive here for five years!? I don't even know where I'm going!" Shouted the annoyed Izuku before glancing at his watch indicating that sunset was upon him. "I'm so hungry... So tired... All I see is trees, I must've been walking for hours..." Muttered Izuku, continuing to walk through the large forest. Listening to what his instincts told him the green-haired boy continued to venture off into the depths of Lian Yu but before he could continue Izuku felt something below his foot causing him to freeze in place. "What the hell was that!?" Izuku asked as fear started flowing through his body. Slowly looking down Izuku saw something that he did not wish to ever see. A landmine, realizing what he just stepped on, Izuku contemplated on ingesting All Might's hair just so he could escape the explosion but of course, that would do more harm than good. But before he decided his next move the voice of Izuku's savior broke the sound of mother nature. "Midoriya! Don't move." Shouted the Green Arrow, looking towards the hooded figure Izuku watched as he fired an arrow at a nearby tree before swinging down and scooping Izuku into his arms bringing him to safety as the armed landmine exploded sending chunks of dirt and smoke everywhere. "What the hell was that!? Why would you send me into a forest filled with landmines!? What's wrong with you!?" Shouted the annoyed Izuku, angered at the fact that this hooded individual almost sent him to his death. "Because, this is what's going to turn you into a hero. Just be fortunate that I was here to save you. Now come on, you've spent long enough in this god-forsaken forest." Replied the Green Arrow, helping Izuku back onto his feet as the two of them walked through the forest.
